Advice Table
I Thought He Was the Same As the Others
I went back to the classroom wearing the costume. Hirano-san and Takano-san gasped. “Kawaii Sawako-chan!!!”
Hirano motioned to me to sit down on a chair. Then she brought out her makeup kit. After a few minutes, we were finished. “Sawako! You look…pretty!!!” Hirano-san said. Takano-san looked at me. “Oh no! I might fall in love with a ghost!!!”
“D-Don’t say that! A-Any way…I’ll show you your table Sawako.” Hirano pulled me to a table near the door. Curtains were hanging from a rod attached to the wall. “This is going to be your advice table. The curtains are for privacy, you know, students wouldn’t want others to hear their problems.” She explained.
I noticed a crystal ball was on the table. I laughed silently to myself.
“Th-that’s just gimmick.” Hirano looked embarrassed. “T-Takano was the one who suggested it anyway. That idiot…” She turned away.
I just smiled at her. “Hirano-san,”
She looked at me. “Yes?”
“Arigato.”
“It’s nothing! We are all doing this for the class anyway…” She smiled.
The bell rang. We’re going to start.
