Push
I Thought He Was the Same As the OthersThe next day, I saw Kazehaya-kun on the way to school. “Kuronuma. Ohayo.”
I froze for a moment. “O-o-o-o-o-o-ohayo…” What’s wrong with me?
“Are you ok?” He asked, looking concerned. “G-g-g-g-g-gomenasai…! I’m sorry for worrying you…” I felt blood rushing through my cheeks. I’m blushing aren’t I?
He just laughed. “Say…want me to walk you to school?”
“Huh?”
“Well…you never know when not so good guys come and might do bad things to you.” He looked away. “Uhm…ok then.” He smiled “Let’s go.”
---
I was a bit quiet on the way. He kept on smiling. “I don’t know why but, I have never been this excited going to school.” That caught my attention. Well…me too.
We arrive to our classrooms. Sensei started the lessons.
Time passed by quickly. Sensei’s lessons were fun, especially English. But I have to say, these past few minutes my head was filled with thoughts from this morning.

Dismissal came. Everyone grabbed their bags with happy faces and went home.
I went to the bathroom. I was about to open the door of a stall when I felt a hand push me from behind.
