Only 3 and a half weeks until the festival, each class already had an idea of what to do. Our class almost completed the materials on our checklist. Now’s our break time.

I sat in class, opened my bag and brought out the food my mom made. From time to time, some of my classmates talk to me, exchanging smiles.

I was about to eat when-

“OOOOHHH!!!! SAWAKO!!! That’s looks tasty…! Can I have one?”

Startled, I looked up.

“C-Chizu-chan! Ayane-chan! H-Hi…” I blushed.

“Hehe, hi Sawako…! Can I have one?” “Sure…!!!”

“Ne Sawako, Chizu and I wanted to eat upstairs. Up the roof. Wanna come?” Ayane-chan said, holding her lunch box.

“I’d be happy to!” I said eagerly. “Great!” Chizu-chan said eating the piece I gave her.

We arrived at the rooftop. We all sat down on a long bench, enough for 5 people. I started to put our food between us.

“Um Sawako…! Don’t place it there, someone’s gonna sit there.” Ayane smiled.

“Eh? Someone is…?” Chizu and I looked puzzled. The door opened.

“Hi everyone…”

I turned to see who it is. “…!”

“Kuronuma…?”
