Jaejoong walked into Yunho’s room, after being texted by him. He’d dropped off __________ in their room and walked straight to Yunho and Changmin’s suite, wondering what was so urgent. When he stepped through the door, the first thing he saw was Yunho’s back turned to him, and that Changmin wasn’t there. Jaejoong was about to notify him that he’d arrived, when Yunho suddenly spun around and looked at him angrily.

“.”

The word stung his face like a slap from Yunho’s hands. Jaejoong’s heart suddenly sunk, and he started getting slightly dizzy. He wasn’t feeling very well these past days, and everything seemed to have built up and exploded at this moment.  He had spent the night out with __________, feeling more energized than ever, but lately, he was feeling very stressed and tired, and felt weak. He wasn’t prepared for what happened next, though, and almost crumpled in Yunho’s arms as Yunho grabbed the collar of his shirt and pushed him to the ground.

“What the hell, Yunho-”

“How are you planning to end this, Jaejoong? What do you want? At first, I thought that you really loved my sister, but it turned out like this. What are you playing at, you jerk? Are you trying to hurt her? I’ve done that once, and I regret it more than anything. If you’re going to do that to her, I’m going to kill you.”

“What?”

“Don’t play games with me. Don’t around with me. I’m not my sister, I won’t let you off the hook. I’ve known you for so long, and you do this behind my back?”

Yunho then let him go, and grabbed a folder on the table.

“_____________ always sleeps early. She never sleeps later than eleven. So I found it very surprising when the concierge came up to me and asked me how I was going to pay for these phone calls. He told me that they happened every single day and were for this man. Do you think I wouldn’t recognize the numbers? Do you think I wouldn’t know that you were still contacting him?

You think I’m stupid, and don’t know that you’re using my sister?”

“Yunho, calm down-”

“Are you telling me to calm down? , JAEJOONG! I can’t repeat the same mistake twice. I can’t repeat it. I killed our parents. I was driving, and the wheel was spinning, and then they were dead, and I know that I killed part of my sister that day, too. It’s a miracle that she doesn’t hate me, and is still willing to talk to me.”

“Yunho, you don’t mean a word of it-”

Do you know what I regret the most, Jaejoong?  It’s not that I didn’t steer properly. It’s not that it was dark and rainy. It’s that my parents and my sister had to be hurt, while I was the only one left untouched. That’s what I hate the most. And I truly, honestly regret that I hadn’t died instead of them. Because if this is going to happen again to my sister, I won’t be able to bear it-I won’t be able to live anymore.”

Jaejoong was starting to feel clammy, and beads of sweat were forming on his face. He never knew that Yunho had felt this way-although it had happened, he’d always put on a happy face, and was always optimistic. Now that he thought about it, he felt stupid-how come he never noticed that Yunho probably only put on that mask for his sister? How come he didn’t realize that Yunho always tried to look strong, even though Jaejoong knew that he cried often in the shower?

“I hate you, Jaejoong. Why are you still contacting him? What has he ever done for you? Why are you helping him, when he’s never even thought about you or taken care for you? WHY?”

Yunho roared, and ran towards Jaejoong, slapping his face and pushing him down to the floor. He then swung a punch at Jaejoong, and Jaejoong let it happen without responding. This didn’t hurt. This didn’t hurt at all, because what he was going to do to _____________ would hurt so many times more. There was another punch at his stomach, and another by his ribs, and then Jaejoong fell into darkness.

But before he was fully unconscious, he heard the screams of a frightened girl.

“JAEJOONG!”
