"So.. how's the weather?" MinHee asks BaekHyun, trying to make small talk.

"You have eyes. Go see for yourself," BaekHyun tells her without looking up from his manga.

"I think the weather down there is quite different than up here," ChanYeol said to MinHee. She grunted.

ChanYeol was at least a head taller than MinHee.

"Yah! That's mean to me too!" BaekHyun told ChanYeol. ChanYeol just shrugged.

"So.. um do you remember what today is?" she asked BaekHyun. He didn't reply.

"Baekhyunnie?" 

"Don't call me that. It's annoying," he said.

"Oh.. well do you remember?" He stopped reading for a second and then shook his head.

"Well, I got you something.." 

"Don't tell me it is something bacon flavored," he said without looking up.

"Oh.. then nevermind.." she said dejectedly and walked away.

"You're mean, hyung," ChanYeol told BaekHyun.

"She's mean too.." 

"Hmm, I guess it evens out.. Do you think ChoHee will like this necklace I got her?" ChanYeol asked.

"I think she will.. It's pretty," BaekHyun stated.

"Did you get anything for MinHee?"

"Nope, she doesn't deserve anything.." 

"Let's go, HeeYoung!" Kai called from the bottom of the stairs. HeeYoung walked out of their room, yawning.

"Where are we going?" she asked.

"I'm in the mood for some cake.." 

"You can go yourself.." 

"We're getting cheesecake.. I'm paying!" he said.

"CHEESECAKE?! I'm coming!" and she went to get changed.

"You know, you only changed your socks.." Kai told her as they are sitting at a table eating cheesecake.

"I think my pajamas are fine to go out.."

"They look cute," Kai grinned.

"Apparently, Batman is cute to you.." she smirked.

"Do you know what today is?" he asked her, changing the subject.

"Our one month anniversary thing, right?" 

"Oh you remembered!" he genuinely smiled, "I got you something!" 

"Close your eyes!" Kai said as he took out a small box. "No peeking!"

"You know I'm impatient.."

"Okay you can open your eyes now!" Immediately, her eyes widened.

Kai blushed as he began to speak.

"Even though one day we may not be as close, I hope we will be friends forever!"

Then he put the silver promise ring on her finger and showed her the matching one he had.

"Thank you so much! I love it!" she hugged him.

"Wait I got you something too.. But it's in the house.." she said.

"HyunMi!" she turns around at the sound of her name. It was Sehun.

"Umm I have something for you," he said.

"Oh, what is it?"

"Well, since it's our one month anniversary, I got you this.." he blushed.

He handed her a bag. She opened it and found a pair of red pants.

"I got the idea of couple pants from ChoHee and ChanYeol.." he scratched the back of his neck.

"I love it!" she said, and then realized he was already wearing his.

"I'll change into them right now!"

Aww.. I didn't get a hug.. SeHun thought.

"Umm I got you this mug.." HyunMi said. Sehun laughed.

"I thought of you when I saw it.." she explained.

It was a blue mug with Mickey Mouse on it.

"I look like Mickey to you?" he asked.

"Umm kind of.."

"Well, thank you," he said and opened his arms to hug her.

She hugged him back, but there was this awkward feeling.

They were so close, literally, yet so far away.

"Come here, MiHye!" D.O called.

MiHye walked out of the room to where D.O was, which was in the kitchen.

"I made you something!" he said and took a batch of cupcakes out of the oven.

MiHye took in the smell of the freshly baked cupcakes.

"This is just for you!" D.O blushed.

On the cupcakes were decorations such as hearts and smiley faces.

"Take a bite!" She carefully peeled the paper off of a chocolate cupcake with vanilla frosting and a heart on it.

"This is amazing! You should eat one too!"

"Wow, I'm a great baker.." he grinned.

"Thank you, D.O oppa!"

"Umm SooYeon.." Suho called.

"Yes?" 

"You see, everyone got eachother gifts.. but I sort of forgot.. I'm sorry," he said as he lowered his head.

"Oh, it's okay!" she said.

"Really?" 

"Of course! In fact, I feel better now, because I forgot too.." she said sheepishly.

Then they laughed together.

Everyone got something today.. How about me? MinHee thought.
