Narrator's

It was time for the second game of the day.

"Ready for the second game or pahinga muna?" The president asked through the mic. Nakaupo na sila ngayon ni Irene dahil nakakangalay din na buong game sila nakatayo commentating and announcing kung ano ba ang nangyayari.

"READY NA PO!"

"Alright. Ms. Bae, will you do the honors?"

Second Game: No Space
Participants: Best pair of the winning team from the previous game
Mechanics: Similar to the first game except the pairs' feet are tied together.

"So, 'yung left or right foot mo, nakatali sa paa ng partner mo. Dito matetest ang cooperation n'yo and strategy." Dahil hindi nanalo ang team ni Giselle at Ning, they will not compete for this game, and they're more than happy with that.

Ryujin x Yeji will fight against Winter x Karina.

"Team 1 and Team 2 have a considerable advantage compared sa other teams. Both pairs are athletic pero it doesn't mean na it's going to be an easy fight." Seulgi passed the mic to the former president.

"Yes, depende pa rin kung mag-wo-work ang pairs ngayong mas mahirap na tumakbo."

They went to their places now, kita kaagad na marami sa kanila ang nagsa-struggle.

"Bansot, hindi tayo makakatakbo nang maayos kung hindi mo ako papaakbayin sa'yo."

"Hindi nga ako makaakbay sa'yo! Ayoko." Winter heard the taller sigh.

"Minjeong! Minsan lang 'yan! Sulitin mo na." Sigaw ni Ryujin na kumportable sa pwesto nila ni Yeji. Nakaakbay s'ya kay Ryujin habang nasa bewang naman ni Yeji ang kamay ng ex n'ya.

Parang hindi talaga sila mag-ex, the rivals thought as they observed the two.

"Kim Minjeong, accept our height difference. Do it for the team." She sighed, medyo naiinis dahil maliit s'ya.

"Tangina kasi."

"What did you say?"

"Hindi naman 'yun ang problema ko. Hindi lang ako sanay na may aakbay sa'kin! Ayoko lang na sobrang lapit mo, I mean, kahit sino naman ayaw ko!" While Winter was protesting, or rather was making an excuse, Karina took her arm and put it around her waist while her's was already over Winter's shoulder.

"Masanay ka na." The starting pistol signaled that the race has began. Their eyes were alternating from looking in front of them and making sure that their steps are in-synch.

"Bansot, isabay mo naman sa steps ko."

"Sinasabay ko naman ang laki lang ng hakbang mo!" Natawa si Karina habang nakatingin pa rin sa paa nila.

"We look stupid but alright, ako na mag-aadjust." They were halfway through the field nang biglang umaray si Karina.

"That hurts!" Sabi nito sa katabi n'ya.

"Alin? Wala naman akong ginawa."

"You pinched me!" Winter's lips curled into a smile; it's not hard to find their situation amusing.

"Hindi ko pansin, hehe."

"Mukhang nakakaabala tayo." Announced ni Seulgi sa lahat.

They didn't notice their surroundings; they were too busy looking at their feet.

The pair already won but they were still walking, not noticing the eyes watching them, not bothering that the race has ended.
 

Karina's

I still can't look up to my friends, not when they have suggestive grins.

"What do you want from meeeee? Tigil n'yo na 'yan, please." We were in the cafeteria having some ice cream.

"So, kindly tell us how was Bansot's arm around your waist?" Gigi started the teasing.

"Did you feel safe?"
"Hindi mo  talaga napansin na you two crossed the finish line?"
"Baka naman you ignored it lang?"
"That was so not you, Jimin."

They alternately made fun of me. I would've put my middle finger up when I saw Ate Seulgi walking toward us.

"Hello! Congrats sa game! You all did well." She said in a very happy tone. I always get good vibes from her. Too bad minsan lang s'ya sa SMU-X dahil sa Y s'ya pumapasok. Sometimes she handles things for us pero she can't do everything on her own kaya Ate Irene still helps her though graduate na si Ate Irene. Our president transferred sa ibang school kaya magkakaroon pa ng re-elections. I'm planning to run for that position but I have to weigh the responsibilities pa.

"Thank you po!" Sabay-sabay naming sagot.

"Ang cute n'yo ni Minjeong kanina," she chuckled, "-para kayong bata na may sariling mundo. Hindi na kayo nag-aaway?" She doesn't have to mention it pero nandito na kami at pauulanan na naman ako ng pang-aasar nitong dalawa.

"Uhm, hindi naman po talaga kami magka-away." Tumango-tango na lang si President habang nakangiti.

"Sige, sabi mo 'yan. Bye~ See you all sa game mamaya." Nagulat naman kami sa revelation. We were gonna ask about the game pero she was already far away.

"May game pa pala mamaya? Akala ko 2 games lang today." Yeji said before continuing to eat her vanila ice cream.

"Ayaw mo ba makasama ex mo ulit?" Paganti naman ako.

"Gusto ko."

"Bading ka! Balikan mo na kaya?" Giselle said, not really the words in my head pero same point naman.

"I don't know, baka ayaw n'ya." I recalled their moments earlier; how sweet they look, how caring Ryujin was towards her, and how Yeji didn't mind how she played with her hair.

"Pero, what do you want, Ye?" She bit her lower lip then a sigh escaped her lips.

"You know how we broke up?"

"Nag-break ba talaga kayo? Mukha namang hindi with how sweet you two were to each other kanina." Gigi eyed her while I gave Yeji a questioning look.

"Nagbibiro lang s'ya, I mean, hindi naman seryoso 'yun. She did those things kasi normal naman sa kan'ya 'yon. Nakikipag-asaran lang din ako. But, anyway, we broke up dahil pumunta ako sa stated 'di ba? Baliktad pa 'yung oras tapos may sakit din ako that time kaya ang hirap?" We nodded and urged her to continue.

"Pero, I realized there na ang tanga ko. P'wede ko naman s'yang kausapin but instead I cut her off. Ako lang din nag-cause ng pain sa sarili ko. Wala namang problems sa'min, mali lang desisyon ko."

"Hey," Hinawakan ko s'ya sa balikat. "-don't blame yourself. Hindi mo naman kasalanan na you felt like you have to end things because nothing was working out for you that time. Did you feel na magbe-break lang din kayo if tinuloy n'yo?" Yeji nodded sadly. Nagpipigil s'ya ng luha, I just know. Nag-abot naman ng tissue si Gi, just in case.

"You can't blame yourself for everything naman. Tsaka that decision made you realize things you'll never realize if it didn't happen, 'di ba? Don't be too hard on yourself. And, if gusto mong bumalik sa kan'ya, we're here to support you. Talk to her about it, hindi pa naman late ang lahat."

"True, sis." May ice cream pa sa bibig si Gigi which made her comment funny.

Yeji is smiling now, thank God.

"Tsaka, dito ka na ulit for good, 'di ba? I think may chance pa 'yan." I agreed with Gigi, rais
