JENNIE'S POV

Lisa wanted to grab waffles before we have our proper breakfast. She left her car at the club so I offered her a ride.

I took the order for us, I know what she likes to eat, when she's stressed she indulged herself eating Norwegian waffle with extra strawberry fruit and syrup and a cup of chocolate drink. She settled to the nearest table at the counter. She was tapping the table while humming. She tried to fight back her sleepiness.

Then uniformed men entered the cafe. I hurried to Lisa's side 'cos I got scared.

"Are you Miss Lalisa Manoban?" The first officer said.

"Yeah,"she replied casually.

"We would like you to go with us, quietly, Miss Manoban. We don't want to draw any attention in here."

Lisa understood and gathered her purse and phone.

"Officer, what is this about?" I stopped Lisa from standing."Do you have a warrant of arrest?" I inquired.

Then the first officer signalled the 2nd officer. He took a piece of paper from the 2nd officer and handed it to me.
They had a warrant of arrest, I looked at Lisa and she was just so calm.

"It's okay, Nini. I can go clean."

The 2nd officer took out a hand cuff. My eyes grew wider."Is that really necessary, Sir?" I couldn't help but in.

He motioned the 2nd officer to stop.
"There's no need for that. Miss Manoban here will go with us and beside she is friends with our colleague. Officer Yoo might bite us, later." He explained.

"Can I go as well?" I asked Lisa's permission. "I'll talk to my lawyer, Lis. I'll get you out of this." I assured her.

"I don't like you to be around that place,Nini. But yes, I would take your offer. I really need a lawyer." She smiled and gave me a quick kiss on my forehead. I blushed instantly.
"I got this, okay? Just get me a lawyer, and finish the waffle for me, please. Thank you."

I watched them leave. I walked back and forth at the cafe, biting my nails, I was so nervous. I  dialed over and over again but our family lawyer wasn't picking up. I needed to get Lisa out of the cell. Oh, I just couldn't stand the idea of her staying there for a minute or two. I was willing to bail her out whatever amount, and whatever it takes.

I was pulling my hair out getting so frustrated. Why Atty.Lee wasn't picking up my calls yet? Finally the ring stopped...

"Hello,Jennie, how are you doing?" 
he greeted."I am sorry, I was out for a jog."

"Atty. Lee, I'm good, thanks for asking but I have an urgent matter to discuss. My best friend needs help."

"Sure, anything for you, Jen. Just give me some details"

"Thank you, Atty.Lee. I'll send you the address of the police station."

"You are most welcome. I'll handle it from here. And by the way I have to discuss something about you as well. Probably over a coffee, tomorrow?"

"Sounds good Atty. Lee. See you then."

He's really reliable and the best lawyer I could get for Lisa. Good thing I still remembered the details on the warrant. I forwarded all the informations to Atty.Lee.

JONGYEON'S POV

"They'd what?" I slammed my hands on the desk.

"Officer Yoo, I am sorry but that's ordered by the Director." The frightened newly hired officer answered.

"Then why didn't you call me? I told everyone here that she will just walk in here." I was not aware that there was already a warrant of arrest issued for Lisa. I should have prevented it.

Just in time the squad arrived like escorting a celebrity. My colleagues didn't look like police officers; around Lisa's presence they were like her bodyguards. 

"Good morning Miss Manoban," I started, "Well I did not expect that you have your time this early. So how's your friend?"

"She's still unconsious.You really can't wait to see me here, right?" Lisa said obviously irritated.

"If there's another way around, Lis."
For sure Lisa, thought I orchestrated her arrest. She should be really annoyed with me. I looked around to check if no one's eavesdropping. 
"I was not aware of the warrant of arrest. You're supposed to be interrogated not to be locked in the cell." I almost whispered. "Please understand I am just doing my job here. But I'll do anything to release you. Just a matter of time. I am not letting you stay here for too long."
Lisa followed me while I was guiding her to one of the corner's cell. I ensured that she won't be joining with criminals. I still believed her innocence.

She took a deep breathe, scanned the place. She was hesitant to get inside the cell.

"Trust me, I'll get you out of here. And I am really sorry."

"Fine, I am really so tired, Jeong. Let me take a nap first."

"But it's not going to be comfortable in there." I was having second thoughts.

"I know."

I took off my jacket, "Here, just use that. I'll get you a pillow and blanket.
Do whatever you wanted to do there. Just call my attention if you need anything."

She'd been yawning, she must be really sleepy. As I got back to my desk my phone rang. A call from my boss. 

"Good morning, Sir."

"Officer Yoo, where is Miss Manoban? Did she arrive safely?"

"Yes, Sir. As you ordered, she was arrested this morning."

"Okay, she's clear."

I almost choked."Really, Sir? Thank you so much." I was too grateful,Lisa does not need to stay for too long there.

"She is clear not because you asked me a favour. Just to clarify, by the way that woman really got some people around to back her up."

"Who helped her then?" My curiosity kicked in.

"It's Atty. Lee's client. He did not disclose any information about his client."

"Oh wow! If it's Atty. Lee then everything is settled. I will just finish the paper works so I can let Ms.Manoban go."

"No need, it's already been taken cared of. Just release her and send her home safely. That's Atty. Lee's special instructions. Please make sure she will also get to finish her breakfast. Are we clear, Officer Yoo?"

"Sir, yes, Sir!"

First thing first, I went to Lisa and told her the good news, but the bad news was. She was soundly sleeping. I tried to poke her several times. Is she alright? Did she get a single drop of that bluish alcoholic drink? Or she is just plainly sleeping due tiredness?

"Hey, Lisa. I know you haven't eaten yet, there is a new order from well above. You are free to go. I'll drive you home." I smiled.

"Hmmmm, what are you talking about Jeong?" She looked like a lion with her messy hair.

"Just get up, you lazy ." She was really groggy but amusing. I helped her get up.

We were at the car, I was searching for a restaurant so we could dine in.

"Where are we goin?"

"Let's just eat breakfast together before you go back to your girlfriend."
She had no reaction. Doesn't she misses that cute chick at the hospital?

"Okay." She said shortly not giving any interest in talking.

"Lis, what's up?" I worriedly ask. "You can talk to me now, it's not my work mode anymore."
