“Okay class, so we will be talking about how to use test tubes correctly…”

I could feel my eyes start to droop. Normally I didn’t mind science class, but this lecture I’ve heard way too many times. Not to mention I didn’t get enough sleep the night before. With the guy at my lab table all the way to the right with a stool in between us, there was plenty of enough space to relax.I folded my arms in front of me and laid my head down, thinking I could still listen even though I was resting my head…

I suddenly lift my head, taking in the classroom again. But this time, someone had taken the stool in the middle. Onew.

My head shot straight up. “Oh my god! I’m so sorry! Here, let me move over.” I started to get up.

“No it’s okay.” He put his arm around my back, resting his hand on my side, and pulled me closer to him. “You can sit as close as you want,” he whispered in my ear.

I looked at him, his gentle smile enveloping me in a warm feeling that was naturally sweet as honey. All throughout class, his hand stayed on my side, making me feel wanted, protected.

I groaned and rolled over as the sun shone into my eyes. Why did nature wanted to ruin my beauty sleep on the weekend? At least it was bright out, unlike the weekdays where I had to wake up to darkness.

Just as I was rinsing, then Onew’s face reappeared. I spat out the water. Did he really touch me there? I put my hand on my left side. It tingled under my touch.

So it was true. I quickly dressed and hurried down to eat breakfast as thoughts raced through my head. I only thought Onew as a friend. Why did I dream of him in that way?

I quickly logged on to my computer.

[YaSon: Kira, are you there?]

[RaKi: Yeah. What’s up?]

[YaSon: I had the weirdest dream last night. You remember Onew?]

[RaKi: The guy in choir next to you? Yeah.]

I smiled. Even if Kira was at least a 5-hour drive away, she always knew about my life. It was amazing how good a friend she was, although I know I definitely lacked as one. I typed out my whole dream to her.

[YaSon: …so that’s what happened. And the problem is that I don’t want to make a big deal out of it since it’s just a dream. But it’s kind of weird how I don’t think it’s creepy at all that he put his arm around my waist.]

[RaKi: Hey, if Eunhyuk put his arm around me, I wouldn’t be creeped out. :P Maybe it’s a good omen.]

[YaSon: Maybe, but I have a little problem with that…]

[RaKi: What?]

[YaSon: Well, Jeanine had been trying to pair us together for the last two weeks. It makes it kind of awkward for us. –sigh- I don’t know what to think!]

[RaKi: -pat pat- Don’t worry you’ll find a way. I have to go, my sister just woke up. Ttyl!]

[YaSon: Bye! I love you Kari! Thanks for helping me out  <3!]

[RaKi: Love you Sonya! No problem! <3]

I logged off my computer and sighed. Thank God it was Sunday, and tomorrow I have no school. Otherwise it would have been SUPER awkward to be next to Onew with that dream circulating in my head. With my parents around, it was easier to be nonchalant.

I froze. Wait, Kira had said it was a good omen, right? RIGHT????

I shook my head and kept walking. I might as well drive myself crazy with the dream.
