It was finally Friday after so long. Unfortunately, I have to see Mrs. Lee again today.

Mrs. Lee entered the class, we greeted her but I avoided making eye contact with her. I was anxious about her getting the wrong idea of Taeyeon and I.

Mrs. Lee was in the midst of collecting everybody's homework when suddenly she walked over towards to where I'm seated at. "I'm surprised, Tiffany," an oblivious smirk crossed her face as she spoke. "Thank you for getting your work done today, keep it up or else you'll end up like your buddy over there in detention again."

She pointed at Taeyeon who was casually asleep with her head on the desk.

This class seemed to take forever when I suddenly heard the bell ring. I was dazed off thinking about Taeyeon. The whole class stretched and got up from their seats. I sighed as I'm headed towards my other class which is science. And lucky me, Taeyeon is in that class with me as well.

There was students already in their seats as I arrived. Surprisingly, Taeyeon was quiet again today.

Why am I thinking about Taeyeon so damn much?

"Hello class," Mrs. Nguyen energetically greeted us. "So today we will be having a partner project!" 

Everyone swapped glances at each other, deciding who to be partners with. I glanced over at Jessica, my very cold y yet lovable best friend whom I always work with on partner projects.

"But class, don't get too excited," Mrs. Nguyen said. "I will pair up everybody!" The whole entire class painfully groaned.

"Jessica and Sooyoung, Minhyuk and Hoseok, Seulgi and Irene, Seunghyun and Siwon.... The pairs have been decided, who doesn't have a partner?"

I embarrassingly raised my hand, and studied across the classroom to see if anyone was available. Today must be my lucky day, Taeyeon was unfortunately available. 

"Taeyeon and Tiffany, the two star crossed lovers!" Mrs. Nguyen joyfully said. "Please don't fight, though." She winked at us.

Gosh if this day couldn't get any worse.

I stared at Taeyeon who had her jaw dropped and look completely flustered. I was in complete shock and frustrated to be paired up with her.

I already know for a fact that she's not going to do nothing.

"No ing way!" Taeyeon yelled.

"Taeyeon! Zip it missy or else you'll be heading down to the principal's office." Mrs. Nguyen shot back.

"Everyone, please get with your partners! And remember that this project counts as a big proportion of your grade!" She announced to the class.

Half the pupils seemed content with their partners and the others didn't. Half of them were socially awkward with each other. But, look at me, I'm here paired up with Kim Taeyeon who hasn't even moved from her chair. I was really starting to get annoyed.

I'm not going over there towards her.

I was dazed off into my thoughts when suddenly I flinched as the chair beside me was being drawn out.

"Hey."
"Hello to you too," I annoyingly sighed as I realised it was Taeyeon sitting down next to me.

The instructions kept going on and on, Taeyeon was already fast asleep and my eyes, too, were starting to get heavy but I had to pay attention to whatever the hell Mrs. Nguyen was saying about the project because I knew that I was going to be the one doing all the work.
