JISOO POV:

Daniels father placed me down on a chair next to the fireplace in the huge room of his office. the sleek black leather stuck to me slightly due to my clammy warm skin from the effects of Daniels powers. He stood behind my chair and placed two of his fingers on each o my temples. I leaned back in the chair feeling slightly drowsy and before I knew it I had fallen into deep sleep. Whatever reality I had drifted into looked so strange.

 The room I was in white but I soon realize that it wasn't a room but simply a white endless plane with nothing except a pile of matchbox lay on the ground. A man placed his hand on my shoulder before smiling at me I jumped before relaxing at Daniel's fathers' appearance.

"What is this place?" I asked raising a hand into the void.

"The innermost workings of your being. It is what is in the depths of your soul," he replied

"Why are we here? How are you here?"

"You would never have been able to find this by yourself, not many people can but for you, I'm guessing its where you hide things from yourself. When I first looked into your mind it was cluttered but this place is so clear. It's strange,"

"What is this..." I said reaching for the small matchbox. I picked it up and Daniels father chuckled as I shook it.

"I thought you would realize quite easily what it is," He said grinning at my naivety. "It's Daniels power, fire translates to a matchbox in your mind a symbol," I tried to push the inside compartment of the box out but what I was met with was a single match. I reached in and pulled it out. Daniels father touched my hand and shook his head. "Don't try to light that match, It would give Daniel his power back but he isn't near us so I don't know what would happen to it, I'll go get Daniel school must have ended by now"

"What do you mean ended?" I said only thinking that a few minutes have passed.

"I have been trying to search your core for a long time now, I told you it's a mess didn't I," He laughed and patted my shoulder. "I'll get him and bring him into the room, don't do anything before I get back and don't wander off,"

Something in me told me to ignore his words from a second ago and light the match but I knew I didn't want to know what would happen so I placed the match back in the box. Looking inside the room I stood in boredom waiting for the man to return. Staring out into the nothingness I looked to my left and saw an orb of black whisps curling and swirling in the general shape of a sphere I reached out to touch the ball but a voice stopped me.

"I'm back," Daniels father said walking towards me. "Daniel is in the room so it is alright to light the match now." I reached back inside the box and pulled out a match swiping the stick along the outside of the box make flames burst to life on the little stick before consuming it completely not even leaving the charred wood behind. Daniels father smiled before placing his fingers on my temples snapping me awake into the real world.

I felt uncomfortable by how I was sat on the chair until I looked down and realized i wasn't sat on the chair but Daniels lap. He was also snapped wide awake and immediately pushed me off and onto the floor.

"I can't believe I had to touch that filth," Daniel said before standing up and walking out of the office with me on the floor. The burning feeling had left my body leaving me feeling almost cold.

"I'm sorry about him, yet again, how do you feel?" he said to me

"Fine just a little drowsy, is all," I said as he nodded to me as if the question was a serious assessment of my health.
