He never expected the one he trusted all this time to be the one person who would betray him.  The one who had promised to protect him was now pointing a gun at him.

"Why?" he asked as tears welled up in his eyes.  "Why are you doing this?"

The man did not reply.

"You said you would protect me even if it cost you your life," he continued, remembering the very same words that were said to him.

The man remained unmoved.  His face, expressionless.

"Is he that important to you that you would betray me?" he asked sadly.  "Do I mean nothing to you?"

The man looked at him as if wanting to say something, but no words escaped his lips.

"I trusted you," he continued with a bitter smile.  He lowered his head.  "I love you," he confessed.

The man flinched slightly, hearing those words but he still held the gun firmly in his hand.

"Why would you do this to me?" he asked in tears.

The man did not respond.  Instead, he saw the man pull the trigger.  The sound of a gunshot rang out.

His eyes widened in shock as he saw the bullet headed towards him.

"Sunggyu!" he shouted.
