They finally got their missions just before Daehyun and Yoongi made the decision to go back to New York City. "Well, we're heading west again," said Daehyun as he checked the details. "Again? Well," said Yoongi as he sighed. "Doyoung and Hobi are busy down south again it seems," said Daehyun. "His team are over in China at the moment," he said. "And that leaves the hunting to us," said Yoongi as he scratched the back of his head. "Yep," said Daehyun. "Go tell the others to pack, I'll see if Joshua can come along," he said as he headed outside to prepare the truck. Yoongi nodded and went to tell Minhyuk and Hyungwon.

Joshua was dropped off by Jun and Chan as they were packing up the truck. "Stay safe now," Jun called to Joshua before he drove off. Joshua waved to his packmates before walking over to the truck with a bag slung over his shoulder. "Well, I guess that was a yes," said Daehyun as he stood up to look at Joshua. Joshua chuckled some. "Where are we headed?" He asked. "West, Arizona has our next few vampires are there before we head over to California to kill off the rest of our vampires," said Daehyun. "We may stop in Washington state to visit some friends," he said. Joshua nodded and handed Daehyun his bag before going to see if the others needed any help.

"It's a good thing we had the thought to clean up the safe house, we spent all morning washing all the sheets," said Yoongi as he scratched the back of his head as Joshua walked over to see if they needed any help. "Anything I can do?" He asked. "No, we got everything," said Yoongi. "I'm sure Minhyuk and Hyungwon are in need of something, they're out back," he said. Joshua headed out the back door to look for the two.

"Are you okay Hyungwon?" Minhyuk asked worriedly as Hyungwon had to go outside to calm his nerves. "I'll be fine," said Hyungwon. "You've had to come outside a lot lately," said Minhyuk. "I know, but I don't want to slow you guys down, I'll be fine," said Hyungwon. "I will let you know if we need to stop somewhere and let me cool off a bit," he said. Minhyuk nodded. Joshua came over with his hands in his pockets. "You guys need help with anything before we go?" He asked. "No," said Minhyuk as he turned to Joshua. "I guess they let you come with us?" He asked. Joshua nodded. "Yeah, and plus I think it'd be easier on us both," he said, shrugging. "Mm," said Minhyuk. "Let's go and see if they need help packing up the truck," he said as he headed back out front. Hyungwon and Joshua followed behind him.

Daehyun was tying down the bags when Minhyuk, Hyungwon and Joshua showed up with Yoongi. "It's going to be a long drive to Arizona," said Daehyun. "And I know Yoongi wants to sleep," he added with a chuckle. "Actually, I'll drive this time," said Yoongi. "Wow, shocker," said Daehyun. Yoongi glared at Daehyun. "Just for that you're sitting in the trunk," he said. Daehyun chuckled some. "Let's just get it over with," he said as he hopped down from the truck before closing the trunk lid.

"Josh you're in the passenger seat," said Yoongi. "Sure," said Joshua. Yoongi got into the driver's seat and Joshua got into the passenger seat with Daehyun, Minhyuk and Hyungwon in the backseat. Yoongi started the truck and backed out before driving off, heading west to Arizona.

Minhyuk got to drive after about the halfway mark which he was happy for. Daehyun pouted from the backseat as he wanted to drive the rest of the way to Arizona. Joshua remained in the passenger seat because Hyungwon didn't really want to move.

They made it to Tucson, Arizona where the only safe house was out west. It had been one of the houses that Jongdae owns, and Minhyuk had to call ahead of time to make sure that the house was free.

"We got Phoenix to go to for our first couple missions," said Daehyun as they got out of the truck after Minhyuk parked in the driveway. "But there's no real time frame, so we can enjoy a hike in the mountains for a bit," he said. Joshua scratched the back of his head. "I guess," he said as he looked at the house. "Well, let's grab our stuff and go check out the place, I've never actually been here, we usually had to go to Phoenix," said Yoongi as he went to unpack the truck with Daehyun helping. Minhyuk and Hyungwon went to scout the house while Joshua helped them bring the bags in.

Joshua felt this weird sensation as he glanced down at his hands, which had begun to shake a little. Not now... He thought as he clenched his hand into a fist. He looked up when he heard his name being called. He grabbed the bag he had dropped before going into the house. "You alright Joshua?" Asked Daehyun as he heard Joshua come in. "Yeah, I'm fine," said Joshua as he smiled some. He sighed. "I'm going to go and turn in early," he said before heading off to pick a room and lock himself in it so he could change to his animal form.

"Hm," said Hyungwon as he tilted his head to the side. "There's something seriously wrong with him," mumbled Yoongi as he sighed. "I'm not going to go with my gut instinct and find out yet though," he said as he went to pick out a room. Daehyun shook his head. "Seriously people, he's an okay guy," he grumbled before going to pick a room.

"How is it that you end up having the weirdest mates?" Hyungwon asked Minhyuk as they went to the room Minhyuk picked out. "I don't know," said Minhyuk as he sighed. "Josh seems like a cool guy though," he said. "Mm," said Hyungwon as he changed into pajamas. Minhyuk went to take a shower before changing into pajamas and joined Hyungwon in bed.

It was Hyungwon's turn to bury his face into Minhyuk's back as they laid in bed in silence. "Minhyuk," came Hyungwon's slightly muffled voice. "Mm?" Asked Minhyuk as he turned his head slightly. "I don't know how long I can keep this up," said Hyungwon. "I'm not as strong as Jin-hyung and Wonho were," he mumbled. "I know you can make it," said Minhyuk. "We just need you to stay strong a little longer," he said as he turned around and brought Hyungwon to his chest. "Stay strong hyung," he mumbled. "Just for a little longer..." He mumbled before he drifted off to sleep.
