Yuri’s POV

I was sitting in front of the siblings. Krystal was hugging Jessica tight.

Poor kiddo,

If only I had forgiven Amber earlier than none of this would have happened.

I sigh and rub my forehead.

I feel so useless right now.

I can’t even look at the two properly.

I get up, face them with my back and fix my suit.

The only thing I can do is take down that clan myself.

“I’ll be back, I need to handle some business to take care of.”

“Yuri, you’re coming back right?” Jessica asked.

I walked to the door.

“If you need any assistance Seohyun’s outside wait for you.”

 

Jessica’s POV

“Yuri unnie, she isn’t coming back is she?” Krystal asked.

I sigh.

If only you knew baby girl.

“No, this happens every time. As long as we leave her alone we’ll both be fine.”

I feel her nod.

“Unnie, I’m hungry.” Krystal mumbles.

I looked outside and realized that it was already dark.

Wow, time flies fast.

“I can ask Seohyun to order some take out. Or we can go to the cafeteria.”

“Let’s go to the cafeteria.” I nod.

We both get up and leave the office.

“Ms. Jung and Ms. Jung. May I be in any assistance?” Seohyun asked.

“We would like to have dinner at the cafeteria.” She nods.

“Please follow me.” Seohyun leads us around the headquarters passing by some weird stuff.

I just quietly observe as Krystal had held my arm tight.

Krystal would be like this when we were younger in crowds.

She couldn’t take it when there would be a lot of people surrounding us.

“Ms. Jung, please have a seat. I will bring the meals over.” I nod.

Wait she doesn’t know what we want.

“Bu-“

“Do not worry, I have studied both you and your sister in order to help vice president with the mission. Now please excuse me.” She bows and walks away.

“Soojung what happened at the mall?” She tighten her hold on my arm.

“A-amber, she was protecting me and then they knocked me out. When I woke up I was in the car with Amber. U-unnie, I’m getting really scared. I don’t think I want to go to school.” I nod.

“Okay, I’ll try talking to Daddy about this.” She nods.

“What about you unnie, what happened to you?”

I sigh.

 

*FEW HOURS BEFORE…*

“I’m sorry…”

I bolt up.

I felt a pain on my chest. I my shirt and look and see something on my heart. It was the metal thing Yuri always have on.

“Great you’re awake.” Yuri came in and sat on the bed beside me.

“Seobang, what happened?”

She sigh.

“I’m sorry, I had to put it on you.” She comes and pulls it out.

Somehow it doesn’t hurt.

“It only hurts when putting it on. It’s only when you take it off you would feel numb there for a while.” I nod.

“So, explain.” I button up my shirt.

“Well, a gang had tried to find Amber. That’s it. I had killed a few guys but I think Amber and Krystal escaped quickly enough because I didn’t see them.”

“Yuri-“

“If I had forgiven Amber earlier, it wouldn’t have happened.” She hits her forehead.

I gasp and remove her hand. I rub her face.

“It’s okay Seobang, I’m sure Krystal and Amber are safe.”

 

“So it was a gang?” I nod.

“Yeah, they were looking for Amber. I don’t know what you guys did but, I’m just happy you’re safe.”

“Ms. Jung.” Seohyun comes back with a cart.

She puts down our meal.

“Please enjoy. Our chef was very happy when he heard that you guys wanted to eat his food.” I nod and smile.

“Come and join us Seohyun.”

“Thank you but, as an employee I cannot.”

“I’m not asking the employee Seohyun, I’m asking my cousin’s girlfriend to join us.” She blushed.

“Cousin?” Krystal asked.

I nod.

“Apparently Yoona, Yuri’s assistant is our cousin. I don’t know Dad told me about it but I forgot. Now Seo, sit down.” She nods and sits down.

We begin to eat. I let Krystal enjoy the meal before I start to talk.

“Seo, I know that you know where Yuri and Yoona is. Tell me before I getting mad.” She choked on her drink.

I hand her a napkin which she politely accepts.

“I-I can’t tell you, it’s classified.”

“Seo Ju-Hyun.”

She raises her hands.

“Okay, okay!”

She sighs.

“Their meeting up with Amber, Lennard and Jackie to talk about today’s events. That is all I know, I promise.”

I sigh and shake my head.

We all continue eating not bothering to bring up the subject.

Once we finish our meals, we place the plates back into the cart and leave the room.

“Is it okay if we do that?” I asked.

She nods.

“Yep, we have our cleaners come in and get the plates. Let’s go, Yu- I mean Vice President should be back into her room.” I nod and then giggle.

I look over to my right and realized that my sister was zoning out.
