"Song Jin Ae! " 

Jin Ae flinched as soon as she heard her name being called while Yoongi went into the washroom.

"Namjoon - ah"

"What was Yoongi hyung talking about?" - Namjoon questioned, his eyes shooting draggers.

"Huh?" 

"What were you and hyung talking about!?" - Namjoon gripped Jin Ae suddenly, scaring her.

"Come with me" - Namjoon whispered, dragging Jin Ae with him and hurrying behind the staircase to hide.

All this happened within a blink of an eye, the empty hallway where Jin Ae was standing just a few seconds ago was no longer deserted. A bunch of teenage girls had walked in. One of the girls stating that she had heard Namjoon's voice here. Thankfully the girls didn't stay there long and went their own way.

Namjoon let out a huge sigh once the girls were out of sight and he now realized how close he and Jin Ae were. Namjoon's one hand covered Jin Ae's mouth, the other had a tight grip around her waist. Jin Ae's face was so close to Namjoon's chest, she surely could feel Namjoon's heart beating whose pace just kept increasing.

It was at that moment Namjoon realized.

The person that made him feel his own heart beat was none other than the girl standing in front of him.

That beat whose existence was long forgotten,

 which had always lived inside of him but never made it's presence felt

now told him whom it was actually meant to beat for.

The realization struck him like a thunderbolt, making him immediately take a step back. His hands trembling, brain frozen and voice lost.

"That was close!" - Jin Ae commented, peeping out to check the hallway again - " I think we can step out now"

Getting no reply back, Jin Ae turned to check on Namjoon.

"Namjoon ah, you alright?" - Jin Ae slightly shook his arm.

Another voice replied instead of Namjoon.

"What are you two doing there?" - Yoongi  questioned with a blank expression.

His voice made Jin Ae's heart skip a beat. 

Does he really know about me? - Jin Ae thought to herself.

It was practically impossible for Yoongi to know about her true identity or so she thought.

Yoongi smirked, like he knew what exactly was going on inside Jin Ae's head.

"Yoongi, Namjoon! We need to leave now" - their managers voice was heard from a distance.

"I think we need to leave now, Namjoon ah" - Yoongi commented while Jin Ae moved side to let Namjoon walk to Yoongi.

"Let's speak some other day" - Namjoon said, his eyes never meeting Jin Ae's. The usual bright expression he wore on his face each time he saw Jin Ae was now no where to be found.

"Namjoon, are you alright?" - Jin Ae asked again looking at Namjoon's shocked face.

"Yeah" - with that said, Namjoon walked away.

"I'll see you later, then?" - Yoongi said with a grin and walked away leaving Jin Ae to deal with the fear he seeded inside of her.

The stars soon covered the sky, the night seemed mystical today. The music box played a magical tone which lured everyone in the thoughts of their own world. Some thinking about love, some about grief and some about their fears.

What did the future hold for them was still a question mark but one thing was sure, the three of them had their fates connected to each other in a way no one could imagine.

Jin Ae had texted Namjoon the next day, asking him if he was doing better than yesterday but sadly she got no reply back, maybe because he was busy with his schedules. Apparently these days everyone seemed to get busier, Jeo Seung also used to be out most the time and rather than being chilled out as usual, there was some kind of uneasiness Jeo Seung carried within himself.

"Namjoon-ah, what happened? You have been zoned out since yesterday?" - Jin questioned, seeing Namjoon blankly stare at his cellphone for the past 10 minutes.

"I think I'm in love" - Namjoon mumbled unconsciously while staring at Jin Ae's message which she had sent in the morning.

"Ahhhh..... that is what's troubling. Just go and confess it to Jin Ae." - Jin advised.

Namjoon looked at Jin with horror in his eyes.

"How do you know it's Jin Ae?"

"Babo, who doesn't? Anyone can make out by the way you look at her" - Jin giggled while Namjoon sat there looking
