"There was once a girl who met spirits in her dreams, her job was simply to grant the wishes of each spirit she met. If she couldn't full fill the task given to her, she would have the spirit follow her forever."

"She was like an orb of light and hope to the deceased who had an unfair death."

"Have you ever met someone like that?" - the curious women asked.

The shaman just smiled in response.

"Yah Ji hyo- ah!"

"Hmmmm " - Ji hyo replied diverting her attention from the cell phone to her friend.

"The girls are staying over at my place since the place destined for the fan meet is closer to my house. Wanna join ?" - her friend chirped excited to have a girls night out.

"Really!?" - Ji hyo yelled in joy.

"YES!" 

"Wawww~ I'm in." 

"yes! Come on let's go!" 

"Wait! I still need to go home to get a pair of clothes to change into tomorrow." - Ji hyo said rushing towards the zebra crossing.

"But you can change into mine." - Her friend replied running closely behind her.

At that exact moment the light turned green.

"I need to get the gifts I made for them too." - Ji hyo replied running through the crossing but stopped in her tracks when she went blind by the headlights and at the very next second her body was thrown 5 feet off the ground and with a hard impact she fell on the road. Her head bleeding profusely.

"Andwe" - her friend's voice echoed through the heavy traffic.

"No! No! No! " - Jin Ae  kept on mumbling - "someone call 119! She still hasn't taken her last breath! Please!"

 Jin Ae rushed to Ji hyo's friend who was holding onto Ji hyo's almost dead body.

"Keep her alive! She isn't dead! " -  Jin Ae pleaded to Ji hyo's friend but nobody heard her, nobody saw her.

​​​​​​How could they ? She wasn't physically present there.

"How many times have I told you to not involve yourself in other people's life? You will disturb the balance between the dead and the living if you save a soul that's supposed to die" - a voice echoed making Jin Ae gasp in fear as she recognized voice. It was a voice she was most afraid to hear. Without any further delay she ran away from the scene.

Gasping for air and Drenched in sweat, Jin Ae reached back home and made her way to the bathroom to wash her face.

As she switched on the light to the bathroom a familiar face popped out.

Her school uniform covered in blood, a huge opening in her head ,flesh hanging out and a part of her brain visible, half of her face was cracked and there was yellow fluid oozing out from it.

The sudden invasion startled Jin Ae causing her to close her eyes in reflex.

"Ji hyo" 

As soon as Ji hyo heard her name from the stranger's mouth , her eyes shot open.

"Do you know me!? You ! You can see me !?" - Ji hyo yelped in surprise while Jin Ae could only let out a sigh.

Jin Ae walked past Ji hyo, to the sink to wash her face.

"Yah! You can see me right!!" - Ji Hyo yelled out of frustration.

"Yaah? Yah? Yah!?" - Jin Ae's pitch increased an octave higher with each 'yah'.

" I'm older than you! Don't you dare refer to me as 'yah'!" - Jin Ae shot back at the dead girl but didn't look at her. The sight of the fresh wounds made her want to puke.

"Waaww ~ So I'm not going to heaven ? I mean it's not like in the 16 years of my life I made any huge sins. When you had decided to take my life couldn't you atleast send me to heaven. But no! Looks like I'm going to be stuck here forever!" - Ji hyo kept on blurting random things, following Jin Ae around the small roof top apartment.

"You are lucky." - Jin Ae replied sitting on her bed.

"Huh?"

"He is giving you a chance to full fill your last wish. I'm someone who is allowed to see the deceased souls who are blessed enough to full fill their last wish even after dying or to those who are truly in need of a wish to be fulfilled."

"So wait are you telling me you can full fill my wish?"

"Yes. But only the wish you had during the time of your death."

"Daebak~!" - Ji hyo screamed leaving Jin Ae baffled at her reaction.

"Oh no don't misunderstand me. I'm very sad, I mean seriously I'm dead but...." - Ji Hyo looked around the room trying to gather correct words to explain herself - " I... I at least get to see Bangtan before going to where ever it is I'm going!"

Jin Ae wasn't shocked at her revelation as this wasn't her first time listening to people's absurd last wishes they had before they died.

"So your last wish was to attend their fan meet?"

"Yes."

"Then do you promise to leave from here and go back to where you belong?"

"Yes"

"Alright." - a deal was sealed with a handshake, both the hands slightly illuminating with a subtle purple light, marking Jin Ae 's wrist with a symbol. With the last word said Jin Ae got up with a jolt, gasping for air.

Sitting up straight, Jin Ae could only sigh. She hated falling asleep.

She hated been asleep when people died because she used to be the one to witness the person's death and then deal with their last wishes. She wasn't a grim reaper.  She wasn't a mystical being. She was just a normal girl with a special ability, someone who used to unknowingly become the last ray of hope to the deceased soul for fulfilling their dying wish.
