Park Chanyeol was mad. That was what Baekkie thought. That handsome doctor was so mad to dr.Byun for interrupting when Baekkie was about to kiss him!

Channie looked at the senior doctor who turned his back then walked to the living room and when Baekkie looked up he could see that Channie was going to explode! Channie looked down to the guy in his embrace who was laughing.

“Why are you laughing?” Channie asked him.

“You are so cute, you know! You looked like you’re gonna kill dr.Byun right now!”

“I really want to do it! He was such a… such a thorn in the neck!”

“Nice way to put it for someone who can’t curse!”

“I really wanted to show him my books by throwing it one by one! Then, when my father finds out, he’ll kill me!”

Baekkie was in joy to witness the cute side of the handsome darling in front of him. But, he also could not resist the urge to kiss him! So, Baekkie put his hands back onto Channie’s cheeks and pulled him down on a kiss!

Baekkie had been wondering how it would feel to kiss Channie and what he felt that moment was beyond his imagination! Channie held his hips to keep him from falling and Baekkie did not know when his hands moved to Channie’s neck! They melted together!

If I ever felt like throwing my books to dr.Byun, I did not remember anything anymore about that as soon as Baekkie’s pink lips touched mine! I felt we stood still and surprised nobody fell down even though I felt like the room was spinning around!

Baekkie’s hands moved from my cheeks to my neck and then he rubbed them on my arms! I lost my mind!

When we let each other go to catch our breath, he said, “This is crazy!”

Yes, it was crazy because I was crazy about the wonderful guy that I just kissed! And I had this crazy idea in my head which I hoped that guy would like it.

I held him up and he automatically put his legs around my hips. I walked towards the door while still locked my eyes to him. I could see that he was confused to see what I did but then smiled when he saw me closed the door  then deliberately locked it with a loud noise so that the man in the living room could not interrupt us anymore!

Then, we kissed again like it was our last day on earth!

dr.Byun made himself comfortable in the living room. He reached the closest magazine on the table with a smile that never left his face. It was so funny to see how desperate Channie was when he entered his room and halted him from kissing Baekkie! Well, he did that on purpose to tease Channie and it worked!

“Ah, I should have taken a picture of his face earlier! He really wanted to kill me!” dr.Byun laughed as he opened the first page.

Then he heard someone closed the door and locked it with a loud noise. He looked up and saw Channie’s door was closed. He could not stop laughing!

“He is exactly like his father. I should tell him about his precious son!” Then he took his phone and dialed a number.

“Baby, do you know what your son is doing right now?”

Both Channie and Baekkie left his room 20 minutes after Channie locked his bedroom door. He knew that Channie did not want to let him go because that was exactly what Baekkie felt. However, they needed to go out because Channie needed to kill dr.Byun!

He found dr.Byun was talking on the phone and winked when he saw them walked to him.

“Okay, I’ll talk to you later. I love you too, Park Chanyeol!” Baekkie knew that dr.Byun did that on purpose to tease Channie. He wanted to laugh but for his love to Channie he only laughed in his mind!

As soon as he sat down, Channie asked, “Why are you here, dr.Byun?”

“I wanted to check on my lover’s precious son because I miss him!”

“Liar!” Channie said!

Baekkie was surprised to hear that. He never thought Channie would talk like that to his MOD! But, when he looked at him, he saw that he was blushing and laughed together with dr.Byun.

“Why are you laughing? And I thought dr.Byun was gonna smack you for saying that!” Baekki asked them since he did not understand what kind of relation they had.

“Haha! Of course not! You don’t know how cheesy dr.Byun is!” Channie explained.

“You have to get used to it, dr.Baekkie! Because I know that we will hang out often in the future, together with his father!” dr.Byun added an explanation.

Baekkie’s face went so red after hearing that. He asked himself if that meant dr.Byun was okay with his relationship with Channie.

“Seriously, why didn’t you tell me that you’re coming?”

“Because I didn’t plan to come. That’s the truth! You texted me telling that Baekkie really wanted to meet me in person so I thought about that again and went through my email to find his emails. So, I contacted him and he told me he was in the US. I talked to your father and he asked me to give Baekkie a chance. So, here I am!”

Baekkie could not stop smiling to hear that Channie told dr.Byun about him. He wanted to kiss him again to thank him for what he did!

“I was so surprised when he contacted me and said that he would like to meet! It felt like a breeze in the middle of the desert!”

Channie rubbed his back slowly because he understood what Baekkie referred to. It was about Samantha!

“I’m sorry I haven’t asked. How is she?” Channie asked then.

“The surgery went well. The doctor was able to remove the tumor after four hours in the OR. She woke up the next day and she looked fine though the doctor still needs to monitor her progress!”

“That’s good to hear! She’s going to be fine. Don’t worry!”

Channie’s hands on his back and his words made Baekkie’s tears fell down. He had been holding up and keeping everything by himself. He let out all the sadness and frustration that he felt ever since Will’s and Sarah’s death then followed by Samantha’s condition.

Channie took him into his arms. He whispered softly words to calm him down.

“Cry as much as you want, Baekkie! I’m here with you. I’m not going anywhere!”

dr.Byun witnessed everything and could not help but feeling proud of his lover. He had successfully raised a wonderful and loveable son all by himself ever since Yoona passed away. He was not sure if they would be able to raise a son as good and wonderful as Channie if he and Chanyeol were together from the start.

Channie looked at him while Baekkie was still in his arms. dr.Byun winked at him, gave him a smile, then raised his thumb to signal Channie that he had done a great job!

I lifted Baekkie in my arms and brought him back to my room. I lay down beside him until he fell asleep. I gave him a kiss on his forehead before I left the room.

“How is Daddy?” I asked dr.Byun when I sat next to him on the couch.

“He’s fine aside from the fact that he misses his son all the time! He plans to go to Seoul and checks on the book shop next month. I’m afraid that he would get tired that’s why I’m sorry, I didn’t take him with me this time, Channie!”

“That’s okay. I understand. Thank you so much for thinking about that. Yes, I believe he will get tired if he has to travel here and then Australia and Seoul within a short period! So, did you meet Baekkie in Richmond?”

“No, we planned to meet in Lima. I arrived yesterday. He had organized everything. I waited for him at the hotel near the airport and he came to meet me there this morning. He’s a very smart guy and from our discussion I learned that he is a very dedicated doctor!”

“Yes, he’s a great doctor. A lot of people here, especially children, like him!”

“And I’m sure he had made another fellow fall for him!” He gave an understanding smile.

I chuckled then said, “I guess so!”

Baekkie showed dr.Byun what MSF had done in that village. He told him that the reason why he wanted to meet him in person was because Baekkie thought that dr.Byun could give a positive feedback on their programs because he read about dr.Byun’s great ideas on the books and journals that he had written.

dr.Byun apologized for not responding to his emails sooner after he found that Baekkie and his team had done tremendous things. He told Baekkie that in addition to being busy, dr.Byun preferred young doctors to come up with their own great ideas first – like what Baekkie and team did in Peru – before asking him or someone else to help them.

Baekkie received an email from Claire on Friday, one day after Channie sent dr.Byun to the airport. He hesitated whether he should open it or leave it until he finished working that day. He decided to open it immediately and cried in tears of joy when he saw what Claire wrote.

“Are you okay, Baby? Is something wrong with Samantha?” I asked Baekkie when I entered the room and found him crying. I was scared that something bad might happened to the little girl.

“I’m happie, Channie! Claire sent me an email just now and the doctor said that Samantha had showed a good progress. She was discharged from the hospital yesterday and needs to go back once a month!”

I went to his desk and kneeled beside him. He turned to hug me and I let him cry on
