“I’m guessing you heard the news.” So-eun said, giving Roseanne a glass of water.

Yeah, Rosé is currently at Jungkook’s ex-girlfriend’s house. Who would’ve thought this would happen? Not me, and I’m writing the story!

“Yes, I have.” Rosé politely replied.

“So are you here to threaten me or something? I’m ready for it. It won’t faze me.”

Chaeyoung shook her head, “No, that’ll just give you more ammunition,” she scanned the room, “you have a nice place.”

“Thanks. Now tell me why you’re here.”

“I’m just wondering why I’m involved.”

“That’s it?”

“That’s it.”

So-eun stared at her for a moment, trying to find out if Rosé is bluffing.

“It gets me more money.” She stated confidently.

Wow, she really doesn’t care.

“Ah, I see. But what’s about testifying in court? I don’t see how it would help.”

“I see what you’re doing.”

Rosé smirked, “You do?”

“You’re trying to make me question my actions. Jungkook’s tried to do this to me as well. It just makes things worse, so I suggest you stop now.” So-eun told her.

“I’m not, really. I honestly just have no idea why you’re doing it. Yeah, I get that you want money, but don’t you have a job?” Roseanne asked.

“I-I have a job.”

“What is it? Accountant? Anything money-related?”

“I’m a bank teller.”

“That job pays well though.” Rosé said.

“Not for people under thirty. My boss hates me and I hate my job. I have nowhere else to go though.”

“Ah, so you need more money because you don’t make enough?”

“Not necessarily. But I’m not telling you why.” So-eun grinned.

Roseanne took a sip of her drink, then sighed, “Alright, I just wanted to know why. But I guess I’m not going to get that.”

“You’re not going to try and stop me?” So-eun asked, surprised.

“I mean, I could try, but that’ll make things worse, right?”

“Whaa you’re smart. Jungkook picked a good one.”

“So you’re really not going to tell my why you just willingly try to take Jungkook’s money?” Roseanne asked.

“Why do you even want to know? The first time I did it, you weren’t involved.”

“Well if it wasn’t because you didn’t make enough money, then I have no idea what your reasoning is. It intrigues me.”

So-eun stared at Rosé for a moment, then sighed, “I’m paying off of a mistake I made a long time ago. If I don’t get the rest of the money soon, I’m screwed.”

“Were you in the mafia or something?”

“You’re kidding me, right?” So-eun rolled her eyes, “I did some bad things in high school, that’s all.”

“So Jungkook’s money helped paid some of it off?”

“Yes, but there’s still a lot left. It’s not like I want to do this to him. I have to… he’s the only one I know who makes a good amount of money.”

I still don’t like her even though she’s in deep trouble with some bad people… but that’s just my opinion.

“Ohh yeah, that reminds me… I was going to ask you something else.” Roseanne said.

Wait, why does this seem like a regular conversation?

This is too normal. Something’s up.

“What is it?”

“Did you ever love Jungkook?” Rosé asked, serious.

So-eun’s eyes widened, taken aback by her personal question, “Ah, yes, I did.”

“Then why would you do that to someone that you love?”

“W-Why are you asking me this? Is this supposed to be throwing me off? Because it’s not.” So-eun replied.

“No, like I said, I’m just curious.”

“Ah, uh, well…” So-eun began to say, her voice trailing off.

“I would never do that to someone that I love. When Jungkook told me about what you did… I honestly thought you planned that since the beginning. But since you said you did love him, I’d like to hear your reasoning.”

“I-I did love him…”

“Did you really? I don’t understand.”

“I did!” So-eun replied angrily, standing up.

Rosé did so as well, but she was much calmer, “Then you need to seek medical help if you really did love him.”

“Don’t speak to me that way! I can ruin you.” So-eun growled.

“I know you can, and I bet you’ll try,” Rosé replied calmly, “but I suggest that you rethink your life-choices. If you love someone and then use them to get a quick buck with no remorse, there is something seriously wrong with you.”

“I loved him!” She replied.

“Bull!” Rosé suddenly yelled, causing So-eun to flinch. Roseanne took a deep breath, regaining her composure, “if you loved Jungkook you would have never caused him that much trouble. You may have convinced yourself that you love him, but you did not love him if you tried to get money out of him.”

“I-I did…” So-eun whimpered.

“And what’s even worse is that he did give you money! You should have just shut up after that! But now you found a new way to get more money so you just pull him right back in again! There is something seriously wrong with you. Maybe at one point you were really kind and sweet, which is why Jungkook chose you, but all I see in front of me is a .” Rosé said.

DAAYUUUMMMM. Sorry, I had to say that. Seriously, DAMN Roseanne!

“W-What do you want from me? An apology? You’re not getting one!” So-eun replied, trying to act strong.

“I don’t want anything from you,” Roseanne began to say, and then walked up to So-eun, speaking in a much more serious tone, “and that means that you won’t testify in the hearing and you won’t be asking for any more money.”

“You can’t make me.”

Roseanne grabbed something in her pocket, then put it in So-eun’s hand, “here’s a thousand dollars,” she got closer to So-eun, “if you ever loved Jungkook, you will not go through with testifying at the hearing. Prove to me that you actually loved him. Imagine his face if you go through with this, and if you feel something…don’t do it.”

So-eun looked at the money in her hand, then to Rosé, whose face was stone cold.

“Why are you doing this?” So-eun asked, metaphorically about to pee her pants.

“Because I care about Jungkook, and you clearly don’t. So I don’t want you in his life anymore.” Roseanne replied, putting her jacket back on.

“Well he probably doesn’t care about you as much as he cared about me,” So-eun replied, grinning, “We shared many special moments that he will never forget.”

Rosé chuckled, “What, that you two lost your ity to one another? I heard about it. Good for you.”

“Yeah, so you may have become friends with him, but you’ll never have what he and I had.”

Roseanne was silent for a moment, staring at the ground.

“I know.” Rosé said, then turned to So-eun, “but at least we’ll remain friends as you move on in life, hating your job and using everyone around you. But later you’ll wonder why you’re so lonely, and it’s going to be because you never realized how much of a terrible human being you are.”

So-eun stood there, shocked at Roseanne’s words.

“Remember to never bother Jungkook again. I know where you live!” Rosé said happily, smiling. She waved, then left So-eun’s house.

DAYUUUUMMMMM Roseanne!

~R: On my way back.~

~JK: NOW YOU ANSWER?~

~R: Yeah, are you guys still at the dorm?~

~JK: No, we left. The girls are worried sick about you.~

~R: I’ll text them.~

~JK: Where were you?~

~R: I went out for some fresh air. I’ll see you soon though.~

Roseanne walked along the sidewalk, looking at the stars in the sky as she held the necklace Jungkook got her.

That was the only way to shut up Jungkook’s ex-girlfriend, so she really had to dig into every mean bone in her body (which is very few) to scare So-eun less.

Are you wondering where Rosé got the thousand dollars that she gave to So-eun? She sold some pairs of designer shoes and a few expensive items of clothing.

Imagine if she got the money by selling the necklace… That would be SO upsetting.

Rosé shivered, wrapping a scarf around her neck, trying to remain warm in the cold weather.

“Yeah, so you may have become friends with him, but you’ll never have what he and I had.”

Why does that sentence bother her so much? For some reason it just makes her feel sad.

It’s the reality of things, but Roseanne doesn’t like it. Soon after the divorce they’ll probably just go on with their lives.

Will they still hang out as often as they are now? Probably not. Jungkook is going to be on tour and Rosé will be promoting BLACKPINK’s new songs… they really don’t have much free time after the divorce is official.

Rosé sniffled, making her that she’s developed a cold. But much to her surprise, warm tears started to fall down her face.

Is the thought of not seeing Jungkook actually making her cry? She never cries because of stuff like this!

~R: Can you unlock the door? I’ll be back to the dorm soon.~

~L: ROSIE WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!~

~R: I went to go get fresh air. Please remember to unlock the door.~

~L: Bull! You hate standing outside for long periods of time!~

Roseanne put her phone in her pocket, watching her feet as she continued to walk. She really hopes that So-eun doesn’t meet up with Jungkook and his lawyer tomorrow. Sure she low-key threatened her not to, but maybe So-eun will be wise and not up.

“You’ll never have what he and I had.”

Wow, this is really bumming her out. She usually doesn’t take words to heart, but just one simple line has caused her to feel gloomy.

When Rosé finally arrived at the dorm, let’s just say she got a less than warm welcome.

“You are grounded, missy!” Jisoo said sternly, waving her finger at Rosé.

“I understand.” Rosé replied, taking her jacket off.

“No dessert for you!” Lisa added.

“Okay.”

“A-And no… this is making me feel bad.” Lisa said.

“Were you seriously just getting fresh air?” Jennie asked.

Rosé sighed, “Yeah, I guess you could say that.”

“Did you do something stupid?”

“Not necessarily…” Rosé muttered.

“Did you act on impulse? Oh , you did.” Jisoo said.

“I had good intentions!”

“What did you do?!”

“I-I just, uh,” Rosé tried to say, watching her friends’ stern expressions, “I went to Jungkook’s ex-girlfriend’s house.”

“Holy asswipe!” Lisa gasped.

“Are you high? What made you think that was a good idea?” Jennie asked, shocked.

“Look, I didn’t threaten her or anyt
