Tiffany was a hard worker. She believed that hard work would always pay off, no matter how long it took. She always took pride in her job, designing dresses and clothings for models to wear, taking note of every single detail there was. As the new year was approaching, Tiffany was heavily sought after as one of the top fashion designers in the country. Which led to many late nights in the office, doing drafts after drafts of outfits for models of different stature. Many of these late nights would result in Tiffany taking the next day off which she used to sleep in till lunch, letting her body rest from the abuse.

“Mhmmm… Go away.”

Tiffany rolled over to her side, facing away from her roommate who was poking her cheek, trying to wake her up.

Poke. Poke.

“Yah! Let me sleep. I had a busy day yesterday and all i want to do is sleep in on the weekend.”

Poke. Poke.

“Taeyeon i swear if you continuing poking me i will wake up and kiss you so hard.”

The poking stopped. Tiffany hid a smile as she snuggled back into the covers, her body relaxing as she tried to find her way back to sleep.

Pat. Pat.

“That’s it Taeyeon. You’re going to get it.”

Tiffany yanked the blanket off her body as she sat up, turning around to face her girlfriend who had a shocked look on her face. Without any warning, Tiffany grabbed Taeyeon by the shoulders and shoved her hard so that the smaller girl was trapped under her.

“Why can’t you let me sleep in peace? I was home only after 3am last night, Taeyeon-ah. I deserve some rest, don’t you think?”

“I d-didn’t poke you! I patted you!”

“I don’t see the difference, you still disturbed me from my beauty sleep. That’s so not cool.” Tiffany grumbled.

“It makes a difference because you can’t kiss me like what you said. You can’t kiss me because i patted you instead of poke you! Hah!”

“Seriously? We’ve been dating for 2 years and you’re saying this? Have you forgotten how many times we did something else which was much more than kissing?”

“Well… I knew you would kiss me either way so i decided to pat you. Fany-ah, it’s weekend! Let’s go out and enjoy! Catch a movie, have a dinner, sit by the beach!”

“No.”

“Fany….”

“No.”

“B-but-”

“Problem! Gotcha! Hehehe.”

“Huh??” Taeyeon was lost.

“No… Problem! No problem!”

“Oh. OH. Okay. I think the stress must have been getting to you lately, you don’t seem to be the Fany i love. She doesn’t have such a lame humor.”

“Did you just say lame? Excuse you, your humor is much worse than mine.” Tiffany pouted.

“Nope, definitely not.”

“What happened to “If 4 out of 5 people suffer from diarrhea, does it mean the last person ENJOYS it?””

Taeyeon started chorting uncontrollably when she heard the joke she said to Tiffany ages ago. It amazes Tiffany as to how her girlfriend can be so playful. One moment Taeyeon could be acting cute but the next moment she could be the lamest person on earth, so lame that Tiffany wants to smack Taeyeon’s face. With her lips.

“See? I told you. You ARE lamer than me.”

“Does it really matter? Lame or not, you still love me.”

“Meh…”

“So you don’t love me when i’m lame? Awww that’s sad.” Taeyeon pretended to bawl her eyes out.

“Why are you so playful this morning?”

“I’m not plammmmfffffhp-”

Tiffany released Taeyeon’s lips with a pop, making the latter blush at the sudden act.

“Two can play this game, Kim Taeyeon. Just don’t regret it.”

“Ooooh i’m sure i won’t.”
