Secret No. 2
Secrets===
Knock, knock, knock
"Wait a sec!” Tiffany heard behind the door and waited patiently until she heard the lock being turned.
"What took you so long?" She pushed the door open and stopped before she could enter the room. "What happened in here...?" She stared at the complete mess of a room right in front of her.
"I was just..." Taeyeon tugged at her bathrobe. "Doing stuff...?"
"What were you even doing? And while wearing a bathrobe? Seriously?" Tiffany couldn't help but wonder.
"Oh, you wouldn't wanna know."
"Why? Were you doing something weird in here?" Tiffany tiptoed as she walked further into the room, avoiding the tubes of paint scattered on the floor. "Seriously, Tae?" She picked up the girl's discarded pants on the floor and looked at it with brows furrowed.
"I'm not doing anything weird!" Taeyeon snatched the pants away and threw it into the laundry basket.
"Then what's with this mess?"
"Why are you here?"
"Why are you avoiding the question?"
"Because...!"
"Because what?"
"Because it's a secret!"
"I really hate that lame excuse, Tae."
"But I can't tell you! Really!"
"Why? Are you hiding a dead body somewhere in here?" Tiffany lifted her brows when Taeyeon fidgeted.
"W-what?! No! I'm not crazy!"
"Really, now?"
"Why are you here again?"
Tiffany shook her head and placed the envelope on the desk. "What's that?" She couldn't help but be curious when her girlfriend immediately took it, ripping it open then took out what seemed to be a letter.
"Yes!" Taeyeon jumped and waved the paper happily before grabbing the brunette's arm to engulf her into a tight hug.
"What?"
"I got it!"
"You got what?"
"This!" Taeyeon showed her the paper.
"What's this?" Tiffany took the paper and read it silently. "Is this even legal?"
"What? Of course! I would not dare to engage in any illegal businesses."
"Does your mother know about this?"
Taeyeon gasped as she remembered the middle aged woman. "She doesn't. Keep this in between us, okay?" She grabbed her hand and looked at her with cute pleading eyes.
"Sure... But won't she find out eventually?"
"I hope not. I used a pseudonym for a reason, you know."
"Uh... Okay...?" Tiffany placed the letter on the desk. "So this is what you've been up to?" She looked back at the mess on the floor.
It took her a moment but Taeyeon answered nonetheless. "Yes."
"You do this for a living?"
"Sort of like that."
"Why?"
"What do you mean?"
"You clearly don't have to work but you still do. Why's that?"
"Because I need extra money."
"For what?"
"Stuff. Needs."
"Like?"
"It's very confidential."
Tiffany looked at her in disbelief.
"What?"
"You're weird, Tae."
"I'm not and you know it." Taeyeon leaned forward to peck her lips.
"Sure. Your very disturbing room doesn't scream weird. Not at all."
"Ha, ha."
Tiffany smiled into the kiss despite the girl's silly antics. "I still love you, though."
"Good to know." Taeyeon grinned when her cheeks were squeezed lightly. "I love you too, beautiful."
