Chapter 16

Jungkook. Wherever Jimin was, Jungkook was always there too. Jimin knows it’s not intentionally, it’s the bond. They were sat in class, Jungkook seated 3 seats away from

him. Jimin glanced at his hand as he examined it carefully, his mind trailing back to what happened a few days ago.

Jimin was standing at the vending machine, thinking carefully about whether to choose the Cookie Dough ice cream or the Chocolate Brownie, he chose Cookie Dough

in the end. He put his hand inside his pocket to get out his loose change, when a couple of them fell on the floor. He huffed in annoyance, not really having the energy to

pick them up. Just as he crouched down, a bigger hand with slim fingers reached for his coins.

“Thank you.” Jimin said as he collected the coins too, before he looked at the kind stranger. Just as Jungkook handed his coins back, their hands coming into contact,

Jimin felts the space between them freeze, wind flew around them as they stared into each other’s eyes. Both their eyes were clouded, their eyes turning a light grey as a

vision took over them.

Jimin opened his sleepy eyes, rubbing them tiredly. He blinked and saw Jungkook’s beautiful brown eyes staring back at him with a look of fondness. His eyes slightly

crescent from the small smile on his face. Jimin stared back with adoration to the love of his life. The room was bright, in what seemed to be in an expensive castle-like

room, their bed sheets as white as snow as the warm ray of sun shone deeply in the room.

Jungkook, took a hold of Jimin’s hands, his thumb softly gliding over Jimin’s knuckles. Jimin glanced at their hands with a small smile before looking back into his lover’s

eyes. Jungkook moved closer, his eyes drowning in lust, and his bed hair was not helping. He glanced between Jimin’s eyes, to his luscious lips as he moved his face

even closer. Jimin repeated the action, as they laid, a few centimeters away from each other. They could feel each other’s warm breath on their lips. Jimin stared at him with

half-lidded eyes, as his lips were about to touch Jungkook’s-

Jimin opened his eyes, and found Jungkook’s lips a centimeter away. The ‘vision’ had long ended, but they couldn’t bring themselves to move away. The bond between

them incredibly strong. Jimin’s eyes shone a blinding deep purple, as he stared into Jungkook’s electric blue ones. Jimin’s hair had changed to his original silver, as

Jungkook’s had turned to a jet black. Jungkook breathed in as he leaned in closer, his lips had touched Jimin’s before they moved away suddenly out of shock. They

watched as their original form changed back to their normal form. Jimin’s silver hair transitioning to black, his purple eyes changing to warm brown.

Both were breathing heavily. What had just happened? Jimin felt his shirt sticking uncomfortably to his skin. He shyly glanced up at Jungkook who had the same bewildered

but shy expression too. Jungkook cleared his throat as he dropped Jimin’s coins on his palm, making sure their hands don’t touch.

“Thanks.” Jimin said huskily, as he quickly collected his ice cream and walked away. Jungkook watched his figure go. “You’re welcome.” He breathed, his mind still a mess.

Since that day Jimin had found a new layer of awkwardness between him and Jungkook. It was weird. Just being around each other makes them feel breathless. They could

feel each other from a mile away. Jimin wished it wasn’t like this. He wish none of this ever happened. His friends being controlled, his feud with Jungkook. Jimin just wished

he could live a some what normal life, where his friends were happy, and he could happily love Jungkook. Because it was true, Jimin did have feelings for him, but due to their

circumstances it was highly unlikely for them to ever be anything.

He stared longingly at Jungkook who was doodling on his notebook in concentration. “I wish we didn’t have to be like this.” Jimin thought sadly. Jungkook’s hand froze as

he took in what he just heard, what Jimin had just said. He glanced at Jimin who was staring at him with a saddened gaze.

“Same.” Jimin heard Jungkook’s deep voice clear in his mind. His eyes-widened, he has heard Jungkook’s voice before but that was different. Jimin was miles away from him

and the language was in Latin. But right now, they could communicate in their minds, as if it was a normal conversation.

“You…you can hear me?”

“…Yeah.”

Jimin didn’t say another word.

“I see you’re back.” Mr. Lee’s voice rang clearly in his empty office. Jimin stood stiffly, his hands behind his back, his head bowed slightly. “Yes, sir.” He responded. “I’m

sure you remember our deal before you took your ‘break’, right?” His voice drawled in an eerie calmness making Jimin feel unsettled. “Yes.”

“Very well.” He chucked a heavy file on his large oak desk, the friction of the folder hitting the oak desk resulted with a loud bang startling Jimin. “What’s this?” Jimin said as

he analyzed the dull caramel coloured folder.

“Your first mission.”

Jimin’s hand froze on the folder as he slowly lifted his head, making eye contact. “My first…mission?” He repeated. “Yes, this is my end of the deal. I let you do whatever you

had to, and now you must do what I need you to. And that is these missions.”

“Elaborate.”

“These missions are based on rebels trying to enter the school and steal some important documents. We can’t let that happen, so you need to stop them. Kill them if you have

to.”

“K-kill?”

“Yes kill. Take this folder with you, read what’s inside and start the mission immediately. Do you understand?”

“You said I can kill. That means my life is in just as danger as theirs. Also, what do I do if these rebel’s friends come for revenge what then?”

“That you’re problem.”
