Yoona’s POV

I had to say that Choi umma raised her son pretty well.  I was wearing Seunghyun’s robe and his slippers, and even though it was too big for me, it was a nice gesture for him.  He led me to a mahogany door as an excited but nervous look appeared on his face.  I knew that on stage, his image was that of a masculine man, but it brought a smile to my face to see that he truly was a little boy trapped in a man’s body.  I was also often teased for acting like an elementary school student, but I personally believed that keeping a sense of wonder into adulthood was a very important yet rare thing to find in our world.

He took a key and began to unlock the door in front of me.  I tried my best to hide the smile on my face.  He was still in his boxers, and I could not believe that he didn’t cover up.  When he told me he’d show me his toys, he excitedly jumped out of bed and dragged me out of the bedroom.

“Why are you laughing?” he turned back before he unlocked the door.

“Have you watched 50 Shades of Grey?” I giggled.

He chuckled, “No.  Why would I watch that?”

“Well, I watched the movie and read the book,” I shamelessly confessed, “Tiffany unnie made me read and watch it.  When I saw you put in the key to unlock the door, it reminded me of the scene where Christian Grey shows his playroom to Ana.”

He quizzically furrowed his brows at me while he tried to process what I had just said.  I knew he had to know something about 50 Shades.  It was controversial, and it was all over the media just a few years ago.

“Yoona, I can assure you that my toys are not toys,” he finally rebutted.

Ha, so he did know something about the movie!  I began to giggle as he lightheartedly rolled his eyes at how childish I was acting.  He finally unlocked the door and pushed it open.  He signaled for me to enter the room, and he followed in after me.  I stared in pure amazement.  This was kind of cool…mostly odd, but cool nonetheless.  His collection was organized well and neatly. There were shelves on all sides of the walls, and on oak shelves stood his collection of rare toys.  He had a lot of bearbricks, but he also had a growing collection of action figures of comic book characters from Marvel and DC.

“What the hell is that?” I pointed as I jumped up in surprise.

I saw the creepiest doll on the corner of the room.  It was a Chucky doll like the one from the movies.  It was still in its original box, and it had a menacing look on its face.  He picked up the box and held it carefully in his hands.  He smiled mindlessly almost as if he was slightly embarrassed that this toy had caught my eye.

“This is the original Chucky doll,” he informed.

“You’re lying,” I shook my head.

He nodded with confirmation, “Yes, it is.  I bought it when I was in Japan.  It’s rather cool; don’t you think?  There are rumors that at night, it comes out of its box and roams around the room.  That’s why I have to lock the door.”

I stared at him not knowing if I should believe him or not.  He slowly came closer to me and then shoved the box to my face while giving the most terrifying scream ever.  In retaliation, I began to shriek and run out of the room.  I heard him laughing—quite evilly if I may add—as he chased me while waving the boxed toy in his hands.  I looked back at him to see a child-like look on his face.  I knew he was basically torturing me, but at least he seemed happy.  I was about to face forward to look at the direction that I was running in only to realize that I had made a mistake.  I was foolish and clumsy; I had run straight to the stairs, and in result, I lost my footing and tumbled down the hard, wooden stairs.

            “Yoona!” he yelled behind me.

I saw him drop the box to the floor and chase after me as I ungracefully rolled down the stairs like a freaking ball.  This was painful—both to my body and my pride.  I always embarrassed myself in front of this man.  Once I stopped tumbling, I winced in pain as the discomfort set into my body.  I was at the end of the stairs staring up at Seunghyun who was running towards me cautiously.  He had thrown the boxed toy to the side, and he had this adorable, concerned look on his face.  There was a bruise on my thigh forming, and he kneeled down beside me.

“Yah, why are you crying?” he asked me cautiously.

I was crying?  I didn’t even notice.  I touched my wet tears with my fingers and then curled up in fetal position and tucked my head between my knees.  This was second time falling in front of this man.  I swear I wasn’t this uncoordinated!

I looked up at him to see him with his back against the wall as his open mouth emitted wild, raw laughter.  I guess I shouldn’t have been running.  I was still a little drunk, and I wasn’t fully managed yet.

“I wish I got that on camera!” he chuckled loudly after realizing that I was just fine.

“Yah, stop it!” I cried out as I playfully slapped his arm.

Taeyeon’s POV

I sipped on my tea quietly as Jiyong sat in front of me in silence.  His head was down because of his throbbing headache, and he complained that he felt very weak.  He had gulped down two glasses of water because of his hangover.  He had quite a wild night, and in honesty, I didn’t expect him to remember the conversation that we had last night.  After he confessed Kiko’s fault to me, he fell asleep, and all I wanted to hear was why she did that.  I didn’t even know if he remembered telling me because he didn’t mention it at all.

“Let’s just get breakfast, Tae,” Jiyong cleared his throat, “I’m really hungry.”

I shook my head, “Tiffany and Jessica are coming over with breakfast.  They’ll be here soon.”

Tiffany and Jessica were spending a lot of time with each other.  These two had bickered a lot during our debut days, and it was refreshing to see them with a closer bond.  I heard the doorbell ring, and I stood up right away.  When I answered the door, I saw my two members with bright smiles on their faces.  Jessica was holding two bags full of food from her favorite café.

“Let’s go eat,” I beckoned at Jiyong.

In honesty, it seemed as if Jiyong didn’t want to eat with Jessica and Tiffany.  They were still hostile towards him.  Tiffany thought that he was a ticking time bomb, and Jessica had slapped him for trapping the nine of us in that recording room so that we could work out our differences.

He joined us reluctantly, and it was silent for a long time.  It was morning, and I was sure that Yoona was leaving for her honeymoon.  They were going to Paris—the city of romance, and I couldn’t help but admit that I was slightly jealous.  When we went to Paris, it was for work, and Yoona was going to spend one whole week there.

I was surprised to observe that both Jessica and Tiffany were fairly quiet.  They were eating in silence, and I had no idea what the hell was happening.  Then I looked at Tiffany’s face.  I looked at Tiffany’s face, and I saw immediate guilt.  That only meant one thing, and I felt my stomach twist into several knots.  I nervously gulped before exhaling loudly.

“You slept with someone,” I gasped.

I didn’t mean to say it in front of Jessica and Jiyong, but it just slipped out of my mouth.  Jessica choked on her food as she stared at Tiffany with a quirky smile.  Tiffany’s eyes widened as she lowered her head.  She was the one who was giving me so much for sleeping with a man I didn’t have a relationship with, and she was now breaking her own rule!

“Taeyeon, can I speak with you privately?” Tiffany widened her eyes with clear distaste.

I was about to reply until she grabbed my wrist and led me out of Jiyong’s house.  I couldn’t even say anything.  I could tell that Jessica and Jiyong were both speechless over the whole ordeal.

Yoona’s POV

Breakfast with my parents was absolutely awkward.  The last time I saw them together in such close proximity was when I was a child, and they were always arguing.  I could tell that they were holding in their desire to argue for my own sake, and I had to admit that I was grateful that Seunghyun had made this happen.

Seunghyun’s mother came to the breakfast alone.  Seunghyun didn’t talk about his father much, but I always figured that he was no longer a part of the picture much like how my mother was absent in my life.

“Ah, I love your watch, Seunghyun,” Choi umma smiled, “Yeonjun is going to have fun looking at that when he sees it.”
Seunghyun grinned, “Thanks.  Yoona bought it for me as a wedding gift.”

He was trying to give me a lot of praise, and I saw a disapproving look appear on Choi umma’s face.  She probably thought that her son had not reciprocated the actions.

“Seunghyun was such a dear,” I added quickly, “He got Bruno Mars to perform, and he got my mother to come.  Those were priceless experiences.”

I gently squeezed my mother’s hand as she smiled shyly.  My father was sitting across from us, and I figured it would be better if they had a little distance.

“You did a great job raising him, umma,” I assured his mother.

She had been bugging me to call her my mom since I met her.  Although it bothered Seunghyun at first because of how possessive he was over his mother, he finally accepted and gave me permission to call his mother my own.  In his words, she treated me like I was her daughter anyways.

Then I saw my mother glance over at her watch.  I knew what that meant.  She wanted to leave soon.  I felt a ball in my throat as I slowly sighed quietly.

“Dear, I really have to go.  I have to start packing for my flight back to Toronto,” my mother frowned.

Choi umma insisted, “Can’t you stay a little longer?  The kids are about to leave for their honeymoon soon.”

Then my father broke his silence.  He was very introverted, and he hardly spoke.  I was fairly surprised at his aggressive behavior.  This man was peaceful, quiet, and timid, and he had just snapped at my own mother.

“Yoona, let her leave.  She wants to leave because she’s uncomfortable that from the few weeks you have known Seunghyun’s mother, Mrs. Choi had already been more involved in your life than your own mother who had given birth to you,” my father retorted.

It was quiet for a few seconds, and I even saw my husband shift uncomfortably in his seat.  He didn’t know how to diffuse this awkward situation, so I did the only thing that I could think of.  I smiled and stood up.

“I’ll walk you out and help you get a cab,” I offered my mother.

Jessica’s POV

I had to say that it was extremely awkward after Tiffany dragged Taeyeon out of the house.  I knew that they were probably arguing outside, but they left Jiyong and me in the room.  I knew Jiyong well, but I would not consider him to be a close friend.  In fact, the awkwardness increased because I was the one who slapped him harshly on his face just some time ago.

“I’m glad your face healed,” I broke the silence.

He let out a small laugh, “You have quite the swing there.  Your slap felt like a punch.”

He continued to eat, and I breathed out before I took a bite of the sandwich in front of me.  What made it more awkward was that Jiyong was a good friend of Tyler’s.  Tyler and I did not have a good breakup, and I was just thankful that we had never officially confirmed our relationship.  At least that meant that we wouldn’t have to announce our breakup.

“Did…did Tyler ever tell you anything about me after I returned to SNSD?” I bit my lip.

My contract with Coridel was a freedom contract, so I was able to leave as I wished. Because that was his company, I decided to quit as soon as we broke up.  Like a child, I ran back to SNSD, and even though they were using me as a distraction for Taeyeon’s pregnancy, I was using them to hide away from my bad breakup.  I needed my girls, and as expected, they were there for me.

He swallowed his food and scratched the back of his head.

“He told me that you were a crazy ,” he confessed, “He told me that he wished me good luck having you around.  He heard about Yoona and Seunghyun’s marriage, and he figured that Big Bang and SNSD would be closely linked together because of that.”

I fought the urge to get on the first plane to China to kick Tyler in the face.  He was an .  He really had a way with his words, and he surely loved to twist the story around.

Jiyong continued, “I should have not gotten into your business with Tyler.  I apologize for that.”

I knew what he was referring to.  Ah, I remember that day clearly.  I had just gotten dismissed from the group, and I was clinging onto Tyler for dear life.  He was a good boyfriend…at first.  As time passed by, he began to show his true colors.

At a party in Beijing, I saw Jiyong, and maybe that was when he started sleeping with Taeyeon…because he talked about Taeyeon a lot.  I was still angry with Taeyeon and the girls, so I ignored him.  He kept telling me that Taeyeon cared about me and only wanted me to do my best.  Then he told me to be careful with Tyler.  He told me that he was not a knight in shining armor.  Kwon Jiyong was drunk that night, and when he told me that Lucifer was once an angel, too, I stopped and looked at my relationship with Tyler.

I shrugged, “I should have listened to you.  I should have known that Tyler was too good to be true.  He manipulated me to do so many things.  He was the reason I drifted from the girls.  He was the reason I was so insecure.  He made me feel like he was the only good thing in my life.”

“Why did you two break up anyways?” Jiyong asked, “If you don’t want to tell me, it’s fine.  I just never asked Tyler because I knew that it’d be bull coming out of his mouth.”

“He wasn’t wrong.  I was a crazy …but only for that one night.  I swear I was sane for most of the relationship.  He made me feel like I was the one at fault all of the time.  He made me feel very insecure because I thought that he was flirting with my assistant,” I revealed, “My assumptions were confirmed when I saw them both in bed at his apartment when I was supposed to be in California.  They were sleeping, and I took a lighter I saw on the bedside stand and lit the bed on fire.”

Jiyong actually spit out his food because of how hard he was laughing.  I cringed in disgust to see that the food had la
