It was already nighttime in Jeju-do. Hana and Daehyun were casually sitting by the sea and enjoying the breeze. Hana tilted her head so it was leaning on Daehyun’s shoulder. He looked down and smiled to himself.

“Are you tired? We can go back” He softly said.

“No, I’m just really enjoying the moment right now…” Hana replied. There was a moment of silence between the two of them. Waves continued to crash onto the shore back and forth. It was honestly a soothing noise to the both of them. It felt refreshing.

“Daehyun oppa?” Hana started to say. “Do you think we are going too fast?”

“Hm…is that what you’re thinking?” He asked.

“At first I did, but now I like where we are” Daehyun smiled. “Then that’s all it matters, right?”

“Can I ask you another question?” Hana asked. He chuckled. “What’s with all the sudden questions?”

“What is it about me that made you fall in love?” Daehyun was surprised at the question.

“I felt a spark when I first talked to you at the music store. I don’t know what it was, but I knew I had to see you again. I love everything about you, even your flaws”

Hana lifted her head up from his shoulder and looked at him.

“We started dating recently, but we don’t know much about each other…” Her voice trailed off.

Daehyun looked at her. “We have plenty of time to get to know each other. If you want, we can tell each other a fact about ourselves each day”

Hana nodded her head in approval. “That sounds like a good idea. What is your fact for today?”

Daehyun thought to himself. “Well….aside from music, I really really love to eat food” Hana chuckled.

“I already know that! You ate my share of the black pork earlier! Tell me something else, like do you have a best friend? Your family?”

“Uhm…I have a best friend named Yoo Youngjae and we met in middle school. We both love to sing, but he does it as a hobby and I do it for a living now. Also, the place we are staying in tonight belongs to him”

Hana was satisfied with the fact. “I hope we can meet each other so I can properly thank him”

“Your turn, what’s your fact of the day?” Daehyun said as he pushed her by the shoulder with his shoulder playfully.

“Hm….my fact for the day is that.. I was abandoned by my parents when I was younger. That’s why I live with my halmeoni ever since. To this day, I don’t know why my parents left me, but if I could meet them just once more, I would ask them why, even if it is something hard to listen to…”

Daehyun looked at Hana and felt the sudden urge to pull her in for a hug.
