The long-awaited day has arrived for Hana. She woke up an hour earlier than what she had set her alarm clock to. She headed towards the bathroom to freshen up before coming back to her room.

*Alright, let’s see what I should wear today* 

Hana opened her closet and went through each and every outfit she could find. 15 minutes later, she was still struggling but she managed to eliminate the outfits she wasn’t going to wear and was down to 3 outfits. She laid the 3 outfits on her bed and stood in front of them.

*Which one looks cuter? No…I should go for a more casual look since it’s a hangout…hmm…*

“I guess I’ll go with this one then” Hana picked up a nice pale pink blouse and a pair of white pants that ended just above her ankles.  She wore the outfit and looked at herself in the mirror.

Hana walked over to her dresser and wore her watch. She then decided to put some light makeup on to make her look a little bit livelier.  Once she was done, she looked at herself one last time and nodded subtly to acknowledge that she was proud of her outfit and make-up today. Hana looked at her watch and she gasped.

*Crap…it’s already 10:30? I’m going to be late*

Hana quickly packed her bag and grabbed a light jacket before heading out the door.

“Oh Hana, where are you going?” Her halmeoni looked up from her newspaper.

“Halmeoni, I’m going out to meet up a friend! I’ll see you later for dinner!” Just like that, Hana left the house.

*That silly girl probably didn’t know it was going to rain later…and she forgot her umbrella*

Hana got on the bus, in hopes that it would be faster than walking and that she would make it to the music store on time. She looked at her watch again. 10:50. 

She huffed under her breath and was feeling impatient. After what probably felt a long time, Hana finally reached her stop. She signaled for the bus to stop and quickly got off and ran to the music store. She saw Daehyun already waiting for her in front of the door.

*How lame can I be to be late?*

Hana finally reached the music store and Daehyun saw her running over. She was out of breath and her cheeks were a little red.

“You made it” Daehyun calmly said. Hana could only nod as she was still catching her breath.

“Sor-sorry..” She took her time speaking.

“Relax, breathe. You’re not late” Daehyun looked at his watch. “There’s still 3 minutes until 11”
