It had been a one of a kind birthday celebration with Daehyun. Hana couldn’t stop smiling the whole night. The two reached outside Hana’s house.

She was still holding onto Daehyun’s hand as she turned to face him.

“Thanks for tonight. I loved every single moment” She looked at him, lovingly.

“I’m glad you enjoyed it. But…I think I deserve a reward for a job well done, no?” Daehyun asked, smirking as he leaned closer to Hana’s face. She knew what he wanted and quickly gave a peck on his lips before trying to run into her house.

However, Daehyun didn’t let go of her hand just yet. Hana was taken aback and she turned around again and Daehyun pulled her in for a real kiss. Hana’s eyes widened and her heart was pumping hard. It only took a few short seconds later for her to finally give what Daehyun wanted, as she closed her eyes and kissed him for real this time.

They pulled back and Daehyun looks at Hana. “Good night”, and releases his hands off her shoulders. Hana gave him a smug look and responded, “good night” as she turned to enter her house.

That night, Hana had a bit of trouble falling asleep because she was still feeling the rush of the kiss and from the events that happened earlier in the day. She spent the next 2 hours rolling around in bed, trying to fall asleep.

It had been a whole month after Hana’s birthday. Daehyun and Hana were still happily in love with each other. Hana was in the middle of talking with a representative from an art museum, while Daehyun was in the middle of composing a new song. He placed his guitar on the floor and stood up to stretch his back, legs, and arms. He sighed a bit before taking a quick glance at his watch.

“I think a quick walk for fresh air will wake me up” He murmured to himself as he went to grab his things.

Daehyun walked out of his apartment and headed towards a nearby coffee store. As he entered the store, a young lady bumped into him and she stepped back a bit, almost dropping her drink on the ground. The two looked at each other. Daehyun’s face turned pale, while the young lady was surprised.

“Daehyun oppa….” Soojin spoke softly. He cleared his throat.

“Are you okay?” He looked at her.

“Oh…yeah…I’m fine” With a subtle nod, Daehyun started to walk. However, Soojin quickly held onto his hand.

“Wait…” Daehyun turned around.

“Can we talk? Just for a few minutes” Soojin pleaded. As much as Daehyun didn’t want to waste any more time with Soojin or have anything else to say to her, he couldn’t tell her ‘no’.

The two sat at a table, sitting across from one another.

“What did you want to say?” Daehyun harshly asked.

“I…just want to apologize again. I didn’t like how we left things the last time I saw you” Soojin said.

“So?”

“So..I’m sorry. I’m sorry for being selfish and asking you to start things over with me. I know it made you uncomfortable because you have someone else in your life already
