Nighttime approached soon and Hana and Daehyun were on their way back to Hana’s home.

“Don’t take halmeoni’s words too seriously. She likes to tease us” Hana said.

“I don’t mind it. I find it adorable” Daehyun grinned. Hana side-eyed him, as if he was teaming up with halmeoni to make her die of embarrassment.

They arrived shortly and Hana shouted, “Halmeoni! We’re back!”  The whole house smelled fragrant from all the delicious dishes that halmeoni prepared.

“Come over to the dining room!” Halmeoni shouted back. Hana smiled and hurried over with Daehyun following behind her.

“Ahh, you came back just in time! Dinner is ready. Go wash your hands first” Halmeoni instructed. Hana grabbed Daehyun’s hand and they walked over to the bathroom. The moment they walked in, Hana saw her reflection in the mirror and she noticed something different about her. A good kind of different. She was radiating. She looked a lot happier. Hana took a glance at Daehyun who was rubbing soap all over his hand and she smiled to herself. Such a simple task and he’s able to look handsome doing it. Daehyun looked up and caught Hana staring.

“Aren’t you going to wash your hands?” Hana snapped back to reality and she could feel her cheeks flushing red.

“Oh..ah..yeah…” She quickly grabbed some soap and rubbed it all over hand. She didn’t dare look up. Daehyun grinned.  He really wanted to some more but he decided to let it slide. He knew Hana must be embarrassed right now.

“I’ll go help halmeoni set up the dinner table” He said and left the bathroom. Once he left, Hana looked up and saw her reflection again. *How embarrassing…*

Hana walked back to the dining room and Daehyun and halmeoni were already seated. She pulled a chair out next to Daehyun and sat down.

“What took you so long?” Halmeoni asked.

“Uh…sorry…” Hana didn’t have any excuse.

“Here, have some japchae, Daehyun-sshi” Halmeoni grabbed some and placed it in Daehyun’s bowl. He thanked her politely. The rest of the dinner consisted of halmeoni talking to Daehyun about his life. Hana didn’t mind. She didn’t feel like talking anyways.

After dinner, Hana went to her room and plopped down on her bed. Daehyun was helping halmeoni wash the dishes.  Hana stared at her ceiling and her hand touched her
