Chapter 7

         “Hwan Hui, you’re home. Are you hungry?”, Your mom asked as you shook your head in response.

“No mom I think I’ll just head straight to my room and get some rest.”, You spoke with a slight smile as your mom let out a nod.

You dropped your whole body right on the bed with a loud thud and shut the both of your eyes tight. You let out a weary, soulless sigh as you recall your conversation with Su Min earlier.

     “Hwan Hui, I think I’m in love with Chanyeol.”, Su Min spoke as she stared into you with a shy slight smile. Your eyes widened as you choked on your own saliva.

“W-What?”, You asked in disbelief. She let out a soft smile. “I think… I’m in love with Chanyeol..”,She repeated, this time clearer. You couldn’t even think of a proper response as you stared into her with wide eyes.

“A-Are you serious?”, You asked, staring deeply into her. Su Min’s cheek reddened to the colour of crimson red. “He’s like way beyond perfect. He’s kind, gentle and also caring. Not to mention he’s good looking too.”, Su Min mumbled with a sly smile.

She started walking and you started walking by her side too. “S-So are you going to tell him ..?”, you asked, hiding the shock in your tone. Su Min nodded, though she looked a bit unsure.

“But I can’t possibly tell him just like that!”, Su Min murmured, playing with her fingers as she walk by the same pace with you.

          “Earlier, Chanyeol said that he and you work at the same place right? So you must be quite close to him, eh?”, Su Min asked as you let out a slight nod in response. “Y-Yeah, kinda..”.

Su Min smiled. “Can you… try and tell him how I feel about him? For me? Your best friend?”, She asked in a soft, sweet tone. Staring at you with pleading eyes.

You looked into her. “I.. don’t know..”, You slightly whispered, hesitating.

Su Min’s smile slightly faded. “Hwan Hui, please? He’s one in a million and I don’t want to lose him…”, She spoke in a low tone. You looked into her. “I-I’ll try..?”, You murmured as Su Min then let out a bright smile.

She then proceeded to pull you into a warm, tight embrace. “Thank you, Hwan Hui I know I can trust you! You’re my best friend!!”, She mumbled in an excited tone as she hold you tightly.

You silenced for a while. A bit shocked by her sudden action. “Y-Yeah of course beside, that’s what friends do right..? S-Support each other through hard and good..”, you mumbled as you hugged her back.

Your thoughts were soon driven away by a knock on the door. You opened your eyes almost in an instant and went to see who knocked.

It was your mother. You raised an eyebrow as she let out a smile. “Someone… named Sehun says he’s here to bring you out for a date…?”, Your mother spoke in a confused tone as your eyes widen. “What?! Mom! Are you serious?”, You asked in a shocked tone, slightly yelling.

Your mom let out a slight nod. “He said that it’s urgent and if you don’t agree he will set our house on fire….?”, Your mom spoke in a confused tone. Your eyes widened.

“And.. he doesn’t look like he’s joking too..?”, Your mom mumbled as you let out a sigh. “Is he still outside?”, You asked in a weary tone. Your mom nodded.

“Okay, okay mom I’ll explain everything later. But now I need to go and see him, okay?”, You spoke fastly as your mom nodded softly.

You took your bag and walked outside just to see Sehun leaning over his black shiny car with a poker face. He raised an eyebrow upon seeing you.

        “Hwan.”, He spoke. You stared into him with bored eyes. “What do you want?”, You asked through the gates as he pouted.

“Let’s go on a date.”, He added as he stared deeply into you. You stared back into him. “Ugh.. I don’t know.. I’m kinda tired and..”, You stopped your words when suddenly two tall suited guys walked out from the car and opened the gates.

The two guys with black glasses dragged you through your shoulder as you let out a scream. “YAHHH!!!”, You yelled loudly as they both held you firmly.

One of them closed the gates as Sehun murmured a small thanks to both of them. “You guys can go. Hwan and me will walk. It’s more romantic.”, Sehun spoke in a monotone as the two guys bowed and went inside the car.

The car drift away as you’re still in slight shock. Sehun forcefully took your hand and linked it with his. You let out a groan. “Where do you want to go?”, You asked in a bored tone.

“Museum.”, He spoke as he started walked and forcefully dragged you to walk by his side as he held your hand firmly. You stared into him with wide eyes.

“Who goes to the museum during first date?!”, You asked in a shocked, confused tone. He looked into you. “Who doesn’t go to museum during first date…?”, He asked in a slight playful tone as you smacked his shoulder.

He let out a whine as he softly rubbed his shoulder using his other free hand. “Aah, that feels good.”, He mumbled as you rolled your eyes. “Seriously, who goes to the museum during first date?”, You asked again.

He looked in front. “I don’t know. I’ve never been on a date. But I thought girls like museum?”, He asked as he looked into you. “I don’t know… I kinda like museum? But usually they go watch movies, cafes..”, you murmured, your hands still firmly being held by Sehun.

“Blurgh. Movies and cafes are so cliché. Let’s go to museum.”, He spoke as you let out a weary sigh of surrender.

The museum was empty. Like literally empty. Okay not literally empty there’s like a few old people walking around.

You looked around. Then you looked into Sehun. “Nice date mate.”, You spoke in a bored tone as Sehun let out a slight laugh. You looked into him with wide eyes. Shocked that he’s letting out a laugh so easily now with you.

“H-Hey, you’re laughing.”, You spoke as you poked his shoulder with a finger. He looked into you. “Why? You’ve never seen someone laugh before? Did you live in a cave before? Oh, don’t tell me you’ve never seen someone fart too? You want me to show you?”, He blabbered fastly as you rolled your eyes.

“Okay now you should shut the up before I smack the out of your head.”, You spoke in a low tone as he widen his eye. “oooooooo”.

         You guys looked around, before you feel very weird. Like, very weird. It’s as if.. as if you’re peeing?

Your eyes widened. You stopped your steps as you pull your hand away from Sehun. He looked into you with wide eyes. “Why? What?”, He asked in a slight shocked tone.

You looked into the back of your jeans. And yes. There’s a small stain of blood. ing yes you’re on your period. And even worse you’re wearing a white coloured jean that day.

You turned to look at Sehun with wide ing eyes. “S-Sehun.”,you mumbled in a scared tone. Afraid that your beautiful white jean would soon turn ing red.

Sehun was still looking at you with wide eyes. “What?”, He asked in a confused tone. “I-I think I’m on my p-period.”, You murmured in a slow voice. He looked into you with a confused expression. “Period?”, He asked in a loud voice.

You gritted your teeth. “Yes, I’m on my ing period and please lower your ing voice.”, You spoke through gritted teeth as Sehun stared into you, dumbfounded.

            “Hwan, what is period?”, He asked in a slow, whispering voice. You stared into him with wide eyes. “You don’t know what period is???”, You asked in disbelief as Sehun shook his head with a serious expression.

You leaned closer to him. “It means my ing is bleeding you dumb”, You whispered as Sehun leaned back almost in an instant with wide eyes.

“Your v-v-a-gg-i-nna is b-bleeding? W-Wh-why? Did you hurt yourself?”, He asked with wide eyes. You looked around. Fortunately there weren’t really people that day in the museum.

“No, it’s normal. We girls bleed every month.”, You spoke, slightly whispering. He stared into you with wide eyes. “Does that mean my mom bleed every month too..?”, He asked, whispering.

You stared into him with wide eyes. “Of course. Your mom is a girl too, aren’t she?”, You spoke.

          “Hey, hey Sehun. You need to help me. You need to ing help me for real man. This white jean is my favourite pair of ing jeans and I don’t want some stain on it.”, You spoke in a pleading tone as Sehun stared into you with wide eyes.

“There’s 7-11 outside the museum right? They should be selling pads. Go and buy a pad for me. I’ll pay you back later, please.”, You whispered in a pleading, desperate tone as Sehun stared into you. “Well then if you ask nicely like that I will.”, He said as you let out a smile.

“Thank you!!!!”, You yelled. “I’ll wait at the girl’s bathroom, ok? You just yell some random or call my name and I’ll peek outside. Go now!!”, You yelled in a slow voice as Sehun nodded and ran outside to the 7-11 grocery shop that was located outside the museum.

The toilet was fortunately empty as you immediately went to the sink and tried to wash off the stain on the back of your jeans using a wet tissue.

You let out a groan. “My worst day.”, You murmured, still trying to wash the stain off. After a while, the stain had finally faded. You let out a satisfied sigh.

“Hwan.”, Sehun’s voice could be heard from the outside of the toilet as you let out a sigh of relief.

“Sehun! Thank god you’re back!”, You yelled as you ran outside. Your eyes widened when you saw Sehun with a plastic bag full of different kinds of pad.

“I don’t know what kind of pad you want so I bought all kind.”, Sehun spoke as he handed you the plastic. “The cashier girl looked at me weirdly though.”, He whispered as you couldn’t help but to let out a slight laugh.

         “Sehun, you’re crazy.”, You mumbled as you looked inside the plastic bag. There are like 4 different kinds of pads. The night comfy one, ultra-thin one, a XXXL sized and for sports one.

“Damn boy I only need one.”, You murmured as you took the ultra-thin one. “Well take the others as a gift then. You can give it to your mom too.”, He mumbled as you looked into him in amuse.

You had washed the stains off your pants but there are still some stains that couldn’t be washed. And even worse you shirt weren’t long enough to cover the stain.

       You looked into Sehun. “Sehun, what to do? This is embarrassing!”, You spoke as you put the other pads he had bought inside your bag.

Sehun stared into you for a while, before slowly ping his blue jacket and removing them leaving him in his shirt only. He walked a few steps closer to you as you eyed his movement. “What are you-”, Your words were stopped when he stop his steps right in front of you.

He pulled you closer softly through your shoulder as he then wrapped his jacket around your waist, tying it slowly.

Because of the height difference, his chest now is just a few inches from your face.

 You let out a slight gulp. You could even smell his perfume due to the closeness. He tightened the tied jacket on your waist and slightly lowered his height so his face could be right in front of yours.

He stared into you with an unreadable expression. You couldn’t help but to look at him straight in the eyes too. And you had to admit. He has really pretty eyes.

“Hwan.”, He whispered, eyes still staring right into yours.

You were lost, hypnotized by his stare. He placed the both of his hand on your shoulder. As he slightly tilted his head, he leaned closer toward your face. You could feel your face turning red.

He leaned in even closer, his lips moving toward your right ear. As his breathing gets closer, and closer, he stops. And whispered,

         “Before you return my jacket, please wash it.”
