“Yeobo, it seems like EunJung created some trouble again at school. It’s the third time we receive letter from his teacher.” My wife shows me the letter she meant across the dining table where we’re having dinner.

I take a glance at it and face my son. “What is it this time EunJung-a?” I smile at him and try not to show any emotions, I know how hard it is for him adjusting to Korean school after living six years abroad.

“My friends made fun of me because I didn’t understand the assignment, and the teacher didn’t help at all.” He pouts his mouth.

“Yeobo, I lose face in front of the teachers already. It’s your turn now to pay a visit.”

“Ngg.. arraseo. Tomorrow I’ll drive EunJung to school and face the teacher myself.” I pat his head and continue eating. My wife in the other hand seems annoyed with the fact I reacted too cool and didn’t talk seriously with my son.

We finished our dinner sooner than usual, my wife insisted that EunJung should not have dessert because he didn’t behave well at school.
