From Black and White to Color
Description
Lee Sungyeol was five when his parents divorced, he stayed with his aunt for a year, until his mother won custody over him and he went with her to Busan, where he lived with a neighbor who taught him about photography and film until that she died when he was eight. After the grandmother's death, Sungyeol is forced to live with his abusive step father and his mother who is quite literally a , sleeping around for money. When she's not around to get beaten it's Sungyeol who is getting beaten, however as the boy grows older, he finds ways to stay away from his home, some times it includes sleeping in the school he attends while other times it's sleeping on park benches. However, the one day he returns home when he's fifteen, he ends up witnessing his step father killing his mother. Sungyeol calls the police and they take the step father in, putting him on trail, he's eventually claimed not guilty, because he made it look like the woman comitted suicide. At his mothers funeral, his step father doesn't even come while his real father who hadn't spoke to her in ten years came with his new wife and his step son. What happens when Sungyeol's biological father takes him in again? What happens when Sungyeol moves to Seoul? What happens when he ends up falling in love for the first time? What happens when his once boring life turns interesting when he enters Seoul Arts Senior High?
