“Sooman-sshi. So it was the truth.” An woman commented, looking at the elder briefly before shutting the office doors, bowing deeply in respect and coming to sit down on one of the two seats.

“Of course Minah, with such a reputation from the trainees and a habit having your predictions coming true. You were the best candidate.” Sooman informed her, smiling widely at the younger woman.

“So you have a job for styling and managing for a new girl group, if I’m correct.” She confirmed with him, moving around in her chair a little as she stared down the elder.

“Yes, yes. These girls are my pride and joy, they needed the best and so well. An old man has some tricks to finding out who’d fit the position the best.” Sooman chuckled as he looked at her.

Minah looked like she was about to say something before the knocking started. Several fast bangs against the door and then silence, the person on the otherside waiting to be acknowledged.

“Come in.” Sooman called, both occupants turning to watch the door intently. Another face appearing as the door opened, the silence only being broken by the click of the door shutting again.

“Hong Gyuri?” Minah said in disbelief as she looked at the disgraced actress, who merely returned at confused look as she scanned the unknown woman.

“Ah yes Gyuri-sshi. Welcome back to Korea.” Sooman greeted, nodding at her to sit down next to the stylist. “Now that you both are here, we can get discussion underway.”

“Both of us are here?” Gyuri questioned, looking back at the elder man for clarification and then to the woman next to her who only offered a confused look in return.

“You’ve both been called in to be hired as managers, with different specialities. The group you’ll be looking after is my newest legacy, and I’ve chosen the best people for the task of ensuring their success.” Sooman said plainly, offering a polite smile as he looked down to the papers in hand.

“That’s all we have to do? Make sure they are successful?” Gyuri frowned, “you’ll most likely need more than a year to do that.” She scoffed, leaving Minah to look at her funny.

“I have the ultimate faith in them, and well they’ll have you as their managers pushing them until they are successful...” A hidden meaning of the elders words hanging in the air, the meaning only making sense to Gyuri who eyed him carefully.

“Of course, now back to subject matter. When will we meet them, and what exactly is our requirement to them.” Minah pulled the other two back into her world, so she didn’t feel so discluded with all the hidden messages.

“Tomorrow, you’ll come back and recieve your offical ID’s for the building and company. Which I’ll have you collect here in my office, as I’ll have the members all come up here.” Sooman informed them, pushing a piece of paper forward.

“Your job as manager includes driving them to and from venues, making sure they have food, making sure they are in good health, no fighting in their dorm. And then individually Minah you’ll be looking after their general appearance at all times, makeup, hair and clothing. Whereas Gyuri-ah, you’ll be making sure their schedules are completed and such. Minhyuk, the overall manager will oversee it all.” His words were very clear in what they had to do, pushing papers towards both woman as well as individual files for their information.

“That’s all we have to do?” Gyuri inquired, looking up from the papers she’d been given. She was sure there would have to be more, Sooman wasn’t so straight-forward to make her journey back to the spotlight that easy.

“Oh and if one of you would be so kind as to be a live in manager? Just to make sure they don’t fight, and they are looked after.” Sooman added, looking between the two for a taker.

“I don’t mind. It’ll be easier to monitor their styling there anyway.” Minah sighed, nodding at the man with acceptance in her eyes at the prospect of living with teenagers and young adults. Well at least it wasn’t boys.

“Yes, well we’ll arrange for your things to be moved to their dorm within the next few days. Other than that, I believe we are almost done.” Sooman confirmed, pushing forward one last paper to each woman and a pen.

They both signed without much hesitation, passing the contracts back to the founder and then were seen off. Except the lingering face of Hong Gyuri.

“Sooman-sshi. Remember our deal.” Was all the former actress said before disappearing out the door like as quickly as she came.

“Of course Gyuri-ah, so long as you can prove yourself.”
