“Sooyun wait for us!” Injeong called out, racing after her new favourite member as the rest followed along behind the group.

“She’s young... Is she the maknae?” Seyeon asked quietly, looking at the running figures of the two younger members dashing off to the office of the founder.

“She is, but her age has nothing to with her skill.” Minhyuk nodded, waving his hands to usher them forward quicker. “You’ve seen her at the evaluations, what do you think of her. We can only make our own opinions of everyone.” He said, looking off into the distance.

It lapsed the group into a little silence, before the most unexpected voice broke out between them.

“At the evaluations she’s usually very excited, she has a very excitable personality.” Seoyul said, thinking back to all the times she’d seen her. “But she knows what she wants, which is a good thing.” The words weren't overly loud, but didn’t waver in the slightest. It was honest and nothing but the truth in the observation Seoyul had given her.

“It’s not like she’s going to do too bad in the eyes of the media, I rather think they’ll love her bubbly personality. It’s contagious, the media like that.” Seyeon threw in, shrugging as she stretched lightly.

“They may love her, but she will still have to work hard. She can’t just rely on her personality and talent to get her there...” Seoyul disapproved, shooting the elder a pointed look.

“And she will work hard, she’s young so she still can be changed. She’ll grow up quickly, so let her have her moment of youth now.” Seyeon waved her off, disagreeing again with the words of the leader.

“We’ll see then.”

And that lapsed the conversation off into silence, Minhyuk feeling a little awkward at the front by the mild tension between the two women. All he could do was continue to head down the corridor and down the steps and through the final corridor until Kyunghu’s desk.

But what awaited them wasn’t a pair of overly excited teens and a bored lady at the desk, instead another pair of girls had come to join the group and were chatting excitedly. Their presence was a surprise to the manager, who froze the minute he spotted their faces.

“Kyunghu? What did you do? I told you not to call them in!” He blurted, marching right up to the woman at the desk who lazily glanced up at him.

“It doesn’t really matter, all your pets are here. Do what you will... I just made your job easier.” Kyunghu blinked slowly, still relaxing deep into his chair.

“But how did you know who to call?” He tried one last time, voice fading out a little bit.

“This piece of paper? You left it here pabo.” She sneered, shuffling her papers for a now crinkled sheet with a collection of photos and writing next to them.

Minhyuk shook his head, taking back the paperwork from the lady and then turned to the two members who were now silently standing next to their teammates watching as he frantically tried to gather what had happened.

“Sorry princesses... I just wanted for you to rest...” Minhyuk apologised, bowing his head repeatedly while he hung his head like a kicked puppy.

“Um? Ah... You don’t have to bow?” The shorter of the two waved her hands, hoping he’d stop bowing whilst awkwardly bowing back to him while the taller just continuously bowed in return looking just as awkwardas the girl next to her.

“But you are here now! That’s what counts!” Minhyuk suddenly changed, making the two girls stop in their tracks and just stare at the man. “I am Minhyuk, your manager. And you two have been selected to be apart of 2015’s new girl group! Congratulations!” He clapped, which was followed on by the ever eager Sooyun and Injeong.

“Really? Thank the world!” The shorter called out, while the other snickered at her.

“Oh I forgot, this is So Jiyeon and Lee Misoo.” Minhyuk introduced them, standing off to the side while they did their bows and small greetings.

“We’ll have fun together, aha!” Jiyeon nodded, a bright smile gracing her face. “But why are we gathering? I know it’s cool and all, but I am literally starving...” She confessed, laughing a little at herself while rubbing the back of her neck.

“Oh yes, come on we have to go to Sooman seongsang-nim’s office, he’d love to meet you princesses!” Minhyuk said, informing the girls of his task.

"Wait, she's still in the bathroom." Misoo stopped the group, staying right where she was pointing off towards the bathroom.

"We promised to wait for her. We won't go until she's here." Jiyeon nodded, moving back to lean against Kyunghu's desk much to the distaste of the older woman.

"We'll wait then."
