Artic winds brushed past the girls bodies, barely being deflected by the thick puffer jackets and multiple layers that they wore as they roamed the streets of Hongdae. Winter still in full force even though spring was near, the last blows of the harshest winter coming through before they would be homefree.

“ it’s cold...” Sooyun shivered, curling herself further into her jacket trying to find warmth in the frozen winter night. Her mind far more focused on keeping warm than the neon and yellow fluorescent signs that illuminated the night around her.

“Sooyun-ah, language.” Seoyul reprimanded her, but pulled the fringes of her heavy winter jacket closer to her. They’d decided to disappear out for dinner as a debut celebration, were slowly regretting it as they trekked the streets until they found one they all agreed on.

“Can we just eat somewhere? It’s cold, I just want to be warm.” Jungah whined a little, shuffling closer into the tight group of girls trying to conserve her warmth.

“Yeah, the next restaurant we see.” Misoo nodded quickly, rubbing her gloved hands against her chest. Every gust of the Russian winter wind that blew in from the North had violent waves of shivers following it which was not good for the group who’d been warned from getting sick during their promotions.

Minah, who’d driven them out and disappeared without anything more than ‘having business’ in the area had them alone exploring the area for their own celebrations. She’d made sure they’d been rugged up heavily, practically weighed down by the heat packs stashed in their jackets, not a single comment of how they looked far more focused on their health in the moment. Though Jiyeon could’ve sworn she’d muttered something about how bulky and unappealing they looked at the time.

“This one!” Sarang pointed, heading directly to the sign that pointed down small alley that led to a door hiding a Korean Barbeque store. While it was bustling packed with laughing and loud speaking groups of friends, the ever sharp eyes and impatience of Sooyun had them heading straight for the nearest table that even had the hostess smiling at her antics.

“Welcome.” Was all the woman said as she had them seated, and held out menus of the various things this particular establishment offered. Only to disappear into the crowding of people

“Bulgogi? How about galbi?” Misoo instantly pointed out from the menu, eyes drawn to the beef avalible.

“We have to have samgyeopsal.” Sarang instantly inputted, eyes looking for some way to call the waiter over, already decided on a meal.

“Soju and beer.” Was all the imput Jiyeon gave, nodding at all the suggestions given. “Oh and water? Cola for Jungah and Sooyun-ah...” She continued looking around the table.

“Cider.” Seyeon nodded, and then looked away staring off somewhere into the distance.

“Cola. Soju...” Misoo made a face at the idea of drinking, Jiyeon laughing a little at the way her face scrunched up in disgust.

“Cider.” Seoyul confirmed with a quick look towards Jiyeon who was counting it down on her hands.

“And Sarang-ah?” Jiyeon looked at Sarang who waved her off, instantly deciding on cider for her as well.

“Oh and unnie soup too, please?” Sooyun asked Jiyeon, who nodded taking down the order in her mind as Sarang’s eyes lit up at the waitress who was making her way towards the table.

“Are you ready to take your order?” She asked the group, voice loud enough to be heard over the chatter of the other groups. Her hands playing with the sheets of her notepad as she looked around the group.

“Yes we’ll have four portions of bulgogi, seven portions of samgyeopsal and four of galbi. As well as seven portions of soup, three ciders, three colas and one somac.” Jiyeon listed, allowing pauses so she could write it all down.

“Is that all?” The waitress replied, receive a nod from the rest of the group in confirmation. “We’ll bring out your order shortly.” And then she was gone in a nimble, short strides back behind a door disappearing from sight as the group anticipated the food yet to come, leaving behind seven still mildly cold and most definitely hungry girls in her wake.

“Unnie’s going all out, somac.” Jungah teased, looking towards the orderer of their meal. A comment that Jiyeon could only laugh to, a lighthearted laugh on one of the only nights she’d had off in a month.

“One of us does, except you two. But I’ll buy you your first drink.” Jiyeon commented back, wide smile crossing her face.

“Soju is...” Misoo commented, trailing off with a grin of her beagle counterpart. “It’s okay to be different.”

“We know, but you could’ve ordered something else.” Sarang smiled brightly, hands moving up to until Sooyun nudged her.

“Unnie! You can bite your nails after dinner.” The maknae chided, receiving a look from the other but then having it disappate into a smile again.

“Maybe we should get some of the pepper stuff to put on her nails.” Seyeon pointed out, eyes looking towards the bare nails on reveal to the group. They were due in for another manicure before their performances later tomorrow.

“It might not work though?” Misoo pointed out, and then looked back at the other. But then pondered on the subject a little before nodding. “But Sarang-ah doesn’t like spicy food, so it could.”

“Only if she wants to try. We can’t force it on her.” Seoyul shook her head, then looked at the girl in question.

“I could try? But after promotions.” Sarang said hesitantly, receiving a small wave of triumphant smiles and an attempted hidden fist pump from Jiyeon.

“Look the food!” Sooyun shushed them, drawing the attention away from the discussion of nail suddenly having been scouting the room waiting for the delivery of the food.

“I’m so hungry. Where’s my somac?” Jiyeon whined, sitting up a little more to search the room a little further but then relaxing as she spotted the drinks heading their way.

“Nevermind.”
