author’s note: minho injuring himself got me thinking about some scenarios so i wrote this and the previous drabble on a whim. please excuse the somewhat half-assed job because i probably took about an hour to write these on my phone. still, i hope you’ll have fun reading them! enjoy! ^^

Life is boring when Minho sprains his ankle and is forced to stay in Seoul to nurse his injury. All day long, he’s either lying or sitting down somewhere in the dorm. Basically, he’s been ordered not to move around too much and that’s complete torture for his athletic self. All he does is sleep, eat, study his script for his upcoming drama, play video games and repeat. Right now, he’s lazing on the sofa and wondering how he should spend the next hour. Eventually, he chooses to have an early dinner and hops his way to the kitchen.

Minho is bending forward, poking his head into the fridge to find something good to eat, when he hears the beep of the code being entered to unlock the front door. Naturally, he assumes it’s Jinki (since it’s just the two of them staying in the dorm) and decides to ask the leader for his opinion.

“Hyung, what do you want to eat for dinner tonight!” Minho shouts without turning back while he looks at the different containers of banchan and goes on to take three of them out of the fridge, stacking them on top of each other.

As he turns around to place the containers on the kitchen counter, Minho is just about to call for Jinki again but stops when he sees Kibum standing at the entrance to the kitchen with a defeated expression on his face.

“Kibummie!” Minho breaks into a smile, “What are you doing here?”

“What do you think?” Eyeing the ankle brace that Minho is wearing to support his sprained ankle, Kibum shakes his head and lets out a huge sigh, “Clearly, you’re useless at taking care of yourself so I’m moving back in for now.”

Minho knows he shouldn’t have thoughts like this but maybe injuring himself isn’t so bad after all.
