What's this? An update. Is it Christmas?

Really though it's an actual chapter. A fairly short one but it gets the job done, besides I have a cunning plan (I've also been watching Black Adder).

Anyway so I have enough written to feel comfortable updating every Friday (Au EST). I realise this one went up on a saturday but I work two jobs and had a shift at both yesterday.

But look, a chapter, ENJOY DERFNERDERS!

The spider woman haunted Takuya for the rest of the day and into the night until his body decided that it needed sleep too much to let the man stay awake. Yongseok wasn’t the only one having nightmares but he was the only one who seemed to suffer from the same one night after night. It didn’t seem as though they were going to be let out anytime soon.
During one of the guards breaks Shin had called a meeting (everyone shouting from their own rooms all at once). Takuya wasn’t the only one to see a strange figure it seemed. Seyoung had been scribbling on his walls when he decided that he needed a new color. He turned around to grab his precious box of crayons to find a body suspended in mid-air. It was originally covered with an old black cloth the slipped down to reveal Casper.
“I thought it was a dream” Seyoung told them “it seemed so unreal. But then the rest of you all started to wake up and the cloth just started wrapping him up again and getting smaller and smaller and then it just disappeared.”

“Well, ” Shin breathed from his own room. The leader had continued to see things on the edges of his vision. Animals mostly, small rodents. Takuya half expected him to start talking about little mice as well. Something Yongseok and been speaking about a lot more again. Takuya suspected that the little mice were a coping mechanism. Takuya recalled the mice becoming more friendly to him as Yongseok warmed up to his presence. After a while the youngest barely mentioned them, they were probably a way for Yongseok to put out his feelings and emotions without having to directly say they were his and after he trusted a person more the less he needed the mice.

“My guard did something weird last night” Sangmin spoke up interrupting Takuya’s deep internal musings.
“What” Shin frowned.
“He just started gesturing like, like he was talking to someone. None of the other guards seemed to notice. Then he started mumbling, not proper words though, just bits and pieces and random syllables. Then one of the other guards came and took him away.”
“I don’t like this at all” Seyoung sighed.
“How long so you think we’ll have to stay in here” Takuya asked.
“No idea” Shin replied “we’ve never been locked in for this long before.”
 There was more silence.

“What do you think happened to Casper” Sangmin asked quietly.
“I don’t know” Shin answered “this is the first time they’ve told us anything other than they were sent home.”
“And we know what that means now” Yongseok added his voice quiet and Takuya felt his heart clench at the tone of the youngers voice.
“Casper isn’t dead” Seyoung snapped “he’s not dead.”
“We all hope that” Shin tried “but realistically” he trailed off.
“No” Takuya spoke up, shaking his head to himself. Yongseok cocked his head to the side frowning through the bars at Takuya.
“He might not be.”
“Speak now” Shin demanded.
“Your friend in the morgue, Minwoo, you said he ‘went home’ one month before I got here.”
“Yeah” Shin agreed.
“And I’ve been here for a while now but the body down there, couldn’t have been dead for more than a few days.”
“You’re right” Shin sounded like he was thinking.
“Unless Casper left them absolutely no other option, he’s probably”
“Still alive” Seyoung breathed.
