I couldn’t sleep the whole night. I was worried about Jia. I really got the urge to call her, but it was no use because she was on the plane.

I sighed for the nth time today. I didn’t even have the mood the work today, but I had no choice. I’m the CEO after all.

Around lunch time Jia finally called.

“Hello? How are you? Where are you now? How is Henry? Do you have enough money? Do I need to go to Las Vegas?” I bombarded Jia with questions.

“Uhmmm…Hello to you too. I’m fine. I just arrived at the hotel. It’s high season right now. It was really difficult to find a hotel room that didn’t booked.” Jia said

“Which hotel are you now?” I asked

“Gold coast hotel” Jia said

“What?! I’ll arrange another hotel for you.” I said

“Kris, you don’t have to. I’m fine. The hotel is okay.” Jia said

“Just listen to me. How is Henry?” I asked

“Henry got in a car incident. He was unconscious for two days and he broke his right leg. He just woke up in the morning when I visit him. The doctor said that they need to watch over him for one day after that he can discharged from the hospital.” Jia answered.

“That’s good to hear. I’ll transfer some money to our private account. Use the money to pay for the hospital bills and the things that you need.” I said.

“You don’t have to. I’ve enough money.” Jia said

“Just listen to me and don’t make me more worry than I’m already or do you want me to come to Las Vegas.” I said.

“No. I can handle it. Your company needs you. I’m sorry, but I think that you need to take over some of my work too.” Jia said

“Don’t worry about your work. I can handle it. I won’t go to Las Vegas if you don’t make me more worry than I already am, okay?” I said

“Okay.” Jia said. I already know that she’s pouting right now.

“How long will you stay in Las Vegas?” I asked

“I just arranged the business meeting that Henry missed because of the car incident on Monday so I think at least one week.” Jia answered.

“Okay. Now listen to me. I’ll arrange a suite for you and Henry. I’ll send you the address as soon as possible. Go and stay there for your stay in Las Vegas. Don’t worry about the money. I’ll transfer money to our private account and use the money. No argue. Otherwise I’ll fly to Las Vegas and call me every day.” I said/ordered.

“Yes, boss.” Jia said and I smiled.

“So after the serious things are settled. Are you tired? Do you need anything that I need to send it to you?” I asked.

“Yes, I’m tired. I didn’t sleep the whole fly and I rushed to the hospital as soon as I went off the plane. I don’t think I need anything. I can buy it here I think. Can you take care of our kids and tell Minnie and EXO that Henry and I are fine so they didn’t need to worry. I already told Minnie to help you if you really need someone.” Jia said

"Don’t worry about the things here. I’ll tell them.” I said

“Take care of yourself too. You too don’t let me worry about you.” Jia said and my heart fluttered.

“I will baby. I love you.” I said

“I love you too.” Jia said

“I know you’re tired now. Go and rest.” I said

“I’ll hang up then.” Jia said and she made a kiss sound before hanging up.

I quickly searched through my phone for my friend in Las Vegas. I called him as soon as I found his name.

“Hey, some business in Las Vegas?” My friend (Ivan) said as soon as he picked up the phone.

“Not me, but my fiancée. She’s in Las Vegas right now. You know it’s high season in your country right now. She had difficulty to find a decent hotel.” I said.

“Oh, the girl finally accept you. Did she find a hotel?” Ivan asked

“She’s staying at Gold Coast hotel right now.” I answered.

“Not your choice of a hotel huh?” Ivan commented.

“That’s right. I called you for that.” I said

“You’re a lucky bastard. A family went back to their country for emergency so I’ve an empty holiday house right now.” Ivan said

“Good to hear that. Is the house nearby supermarket and shopping mall?” I asked

“So demanding. There’s a supermarket and shopping mall nearby. I think about 10 minutes’ walk. I’ve a golf kart there. She can use it if she like and I don’t mind to be her driver for her stay in Las Vegas.” Ivan said

“You’re indeed my good friend.” I said

“I’ll send you the address and I’m stand by for her call anytime.” Ivan said

“Thanks, goodbye.” I said

“Bye.” Ivan said and he hung up.

After a while I got a message from Ivan with the address. I quickly send Jia the address.
