Seohyun's POV

I woke up the next morning, feeling even happier than usual. 

I hummed and sang a few upbeat songs that I could remember as I prepared my own breakfast.

Today was Saturday and I was so excited to have a day off.

Buzz!

My phone vibrated and I saw a text from Kyuhyun-oppa.

We exchanged phone number the day before.

K: Hey, Seohyun-ah!

S: Hey oppa!

K: What you doing?

S: I just got up. Making breakfast right now.

K: Okay. Can I take you out on a date today?

S: A date?

K: Yeah. I need to take my girlfriend out on a proper date, right?

S: Oh ok. Where are we going?

K: I was thinking since today's a nice day, how about a walk in the park? 

S: That sounds nice. We can have a little picnic too.

K: Yeah! Sounds good. So meet me at 10 at the park where we were yesterday, okay?

S: Okay. 

K: Uhm... I love you.

I hesitated for a moment. I've never said 'I love you' to anyone besides my family members and the unnies, so I wasn't sure if I was ready to say that to him. I know we're dating and all but this is a bit too sudden for me.

And Kyuhyun-oppa must've realized that too because he texted afterwards.

K: I know it might be to fast for you to say I love you but I just want you to know I love you. I hope you don't feel burdened.

S: Thank you for understanding. Okay, 10 it is!

K: Bye Seohyun-ah!

S: Bye, oppa!

I quickly finished my breakfast, changed, prepared some picnic food, waited till it was 9:45, and began to head towards the park.

Kyuhyun-oppa was already there on the bench, playing a game on his phone. 

"Oppa! I'm here!'

"Hey there! You made food? I brought some too. Two sandwiches!"

"Wow. I brought two sandwiches too. And sweet potatoes, of course!" 

"Sweet potatoes?"

"Yup. I love them! I'll let you try some too."

"Okay. Should we walk around for a while? Here I'll carry your bag for you."

"No it's fine." But he took the bag anyway and grabbed my hand with his free hand.

As we walked, Kyuhyun-oppa began swinging our arms. I giggled. 

"Seohyun-ah, what do you like about me?" 

"Well, a lot of things."

"Name one."

"Uhm...your smile."

"Okay. What do you DISlike about me?"

"Hmmm...."

"I guess that's nothing huh?"

I glared at him teasingly, but nodded. 

"Well?" He said.

"Well what?"

"Aren't you gonna ask me what I like and dislike about you?"

"Oh right. What do you like or dislike about me?"

"Like: Everything."

"Name one."

"Let's see....your eyes."

"Okay. Dislikes?"

"Nothing either."

I grinned.

"I like you a lot." I confessed out of nowhere.

"I know. I like you a lot too."

"I know." 

"Do you want to eat lunch now?"

"Yeah. Let's go over to that table." I pointed and we walked to the table and got out our picnic food.

"Hmm, looks good!" Kyuhyun-oppa said. 

"And here are the sweet potatoes."

We began eating and hanging out and when it was 3 P.M., Kyuhyun-oppa said he'll walk me home. 

When we finally reached the dorm, I hesitated at first and thought about it thoroughly but I decided this is no time to be thinking. 

I quickly said, "I-I love you. Kyuhyun-oppa."

I could tell he was really surprised but he gave a warm smile. 

"I know you do. I love you too, Seohyun-ah."
