Seohyun's POV

Throughout the whole day I couldn't stop smiling because of what Kyuhyun-oppa had told me. 

During Performance Arts class, I didn't even dare to look at his direction but somehow I could feel him looking at me.

"What's going on, Seohyun-ah?" Hyoyeon-unnie nudged my elbow at lunch, smirking. 

"Ooh did something happen with Kyuhyun-oppa?" Sunny added.

I nodded rapidly, still grinning.

"He-He c-confessed to me that he likes me," I slowly said and I could hear the unnies squealling. 

"So lucky!!! Did you tell him you like him too?" Fany-unnie asked.

"No. The bell rang right at the moment."

"But you ARE going to tell him right?" Sooyoung-unnie questioned.

"Of course. I have to give him an answer sooner or later right?"

The unnies smiled.

After school, I was all prepared to tell Kyuhyun-oppa I like him too, but unfortunately, the teacher had made me stay back to help her with something.

I was really disappointed but I had no other choice. 

After the task was finished, I walked home alone.

But as I passed by a small park near our dorm, a voice called out to me.

"Seohyun-ah!"

I turned and looked all over and finally found the owner of the voice.

"K-Kyuhyun-oppa?! What are you doing here?"

"What? I can't be out in the park waiting for you?"

"W-"

"You didn't think I'd leave without hearing your answer first did you?"

"Oh, right."

"Don't tell me you forgot."

"No no of course not."

"Well?"

He waited.

"Oh right." I took a deep breath. "I also really really really like you too. I wanted to tell you before but I was scared of rejection."

"I knew it."

"What? How did you know?"

"Just a guess."

I smiled and he smiled back.

"So does this mean we're a couple now?" I asked.

"No."

My eyes widened.

"I have to ask you to be my girlfriend first."

"Okay."

"Will you be my girlfriend Seohyun-ah?"

"No."

Now it was time for him to be surprised.

"It's not special if you say it like that. You have to be sincere. You have to do something." I read in love improvement books that women like men I do unpredictable things for them.

"Okay. How about this?"

He wrapped his big arms around me and pulled me close so that I could feel his warmth.

"Is this enough?" 

I stayed silent for a moment because I seriously did not expect this.

"I'll take that as a no. Okay, how about now?"

He pulled away a little, still having his arms around my shoulders, leaned in, and put his lips on mine. 

I felt butterflies in my stomach as I returned the kiss.

After a few seconds or so, I pulled back and said, "Yes."

"What?"

"I'll be your girlfriend."

"I knew that trick would work."

"You were tricking me?" He laughed teasingly, grabbed my hand, and began leading me home.
