Kai was awoken by the sudden surprised gasp of Asher's as he hears Asher's tiny footsteps running back to the room, only to jump on him.

"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" Asher was beaming brightly, jumping up and down. Usually Asher was too tired to move in the mornings and Kai would have to try extra to get him out of bed. "Sehun is here!" Kai felt the tiny dip disappear as the footsteps could be heard running out of the bedroom.

Somehow, Sehun had manage to convince Kai to let him sleep over at the house. If Kai could remember correctly, it was something about executing the trouble of waking up extra early and going to pick Sehun up so that they could both take Asher to school together.

Throwing the blanket off his body and to the side, Kai got up to follow behind Asher who had long gone. He rubbed his eyes from the kitchen light that was turn on, only to see the sight of Sehun's back facing him and Asher’s little body already climbed up onto a chair by the kitchen island.

Before Kai even knew it himself, he was grinning at the sight before him. Someone else to cook and care for Asher other than himself. Someone who Asher enjoyed having over, just as much as.. Kai himself liked.

“Oh, um.. good morning.” Kai was so lost in his own happy thoughts that he didn’t even notice Sehun had turned around in surprise. Sehun had what looked like flour on his nose and a small part of his left cheek, which caused Kai to chuckle a bit. He would have told Sehun, but Kai rather found it somewhat cute on him.

"Good morning." Kai quickly did a scan of the kitchen and so far Sehun hasn't burnt anything.. yet. "Don't trouble yourself, I'll make breakfast as soon as I wash up."

"Oh, I, uh actually, I want to make breakfast." Sehun looked rather shy and was nervously toying with the hems of Kai's shirt that he had borrowed for the previous night.

"Uh.." Kai didn't mind, it was just he knows for sure Sehun had never cooked a day in his life and he could possibly set the house on fire and hurt himself, but with Asher constantly staring at Kai with his big puppy eyes, and Sehun looking at him with such determination, but yet shy eyes.
