At the age of 15, Kai was certain that he had found the one, Hyeri.

At the age of 16 Kai had finally mustered up the courage to ask her out and when she had expressed that she felt the same way, Kai was jumping out of his own skins in happiness.

When he had hit his adult years, at 18, they both went against their parents and wedded right after high school, cutting all ties with their families.

 Everything felt so right for Kai even when he had to give up on going to university to strive so hard for the both of them so that maybe sometime soon they would be able to start their own little family.

 At the age of 21, Kai became a father to the most lovely and happy ball of sunshine, Asher and he also manage to become a responsible man for Hyeri.

To Kai forever meant until he had taken his last breath, but apparently to Hyeri, it only meant 3 years and exactly 7 months after that.
