"What are you plotting here?”

"Nothing, why would you think that?" The young man in black suit flashed an innocent smile.

"Cut the crap, Kai. We both know you are here for something," the fair-skin woman replied with a snare, "you are here for something more than H!M and my dead granddaughter.”

"Ah, you were always the smart one mother, why don't you tell me what I'm here for? Although I do admit that your deceased granddaughter was just a bonus,” Kai flashed another smile as he leaned forward over the large wooden office table, "Have you told Sehun yet?”

Slamming her black notebook down on the table, the woman swung her arms ready to hit the man only for her arm to be caught by the said man. "You should've stayed where you were with that pathetic step-mother of yours, you bastard child. You are going to regret this," Mrs. Oh hissed as she snatched her arm away, "Don't you ever dare to show yourself before my son.”

Kai chuckled before walking around her new, smaller office looking around at her old trophy and photos. There's nothing personal in the photos, just her and some random man shaking hands together. He can hear her shaky breaths as she picks up her black notebook again. The silent moment was interrupted when the elevator door opened revealing her distressed legitimate son holding the some folders in his arm. There's bags under his eyes, his once radiant skin now dry, his dry lips cracked while his hair was tousled messily.
