"Hello...my name is Lee______,nice to meet you..."I introduced myself.

Not a sound from them....awkward...
I gave a 90 degree bow and head to my designated seat.

It was Maths period but nothing seemed to enter my head.Maths was supposed to be my strongest subject.=.=
The teacher was talking in korean too fast.I cant seem to catch up with what she said.

-----------a few hours later----------------------
"Do you get me,______?"asked the Art teacher.

The students gave me a smirk as I shook my head for the third time that day.
All the subjects were being taught in Korean.I cant catch up!

Back in America,I was one of the top pupils...
Its so different here...I can't adapt to it.

--------break time-------
I tried making friends there.
EPIC FAILURE.
None of them were approachable.

Eventually I gave up and went to explore the school instead.
After quite some time,I decided to rest at the garden.
It was pretty quiet and there seemed to be no one there.
Such a nice place gone to waste...

suddenly,from the corner of my eyes...I saw someone.
why would a guy like him be here?

I didn't expect anybody to be here at such a time.
he seemed lonely,kicking over stones as he sat on the garden bench.
theres nothing wrong with being friends with him right?
slowly i approached him.

"my name is lee ______ and I just transferred here from america.whats yours?"i asked,in the simplest korean language i know.

at first...he seemed hesitant
...why?
he gave me a blank face
then, his expression changed.

"taemin...lee taemin,"he gave a small smile.

it obviously wasn't the fake ones I received just now as I could see a few wrinkles form at his eyes.

"wanna be friends?" I then said hopefully...

Taemin froze for a while.
That's wierd...
Maybe he didnt want to be friends with a nerd like me.

"It's ok if you don't want to,"I then said,turning my back towards him about to walk away...

"_____-sshi,wait"i then heard his voice.

I turned and waited for him to speak.
He was about to say something when...RIIING!!!goes the school bell.

"I got to go,"I then bowed and left before he could say anything...

questions flooded my thoughts when she left:

is she a new student?
why is her korean so broken?
how could she not know me?
what was she doing here at a time like this?
was she genuine in being friends with me?
how could i be so slow and miss out a good chance to have a real friend?

but most importantly...

will i see her again??
