“We should leave them alone. Everyone else seems to be doing the same.” said Jenny. Haeun looked around the bar and saw that her friend was telling the truth. Everyone seemed to noticed they were there, but no one dared to approach them.

“We can't even say 'Hi!'?” asked Haeun. Jenny shook her head to indicate no and Haeun just sighed.

“Fine...You're no fun.” said Haeun with a pout.

“You know I'm immune to stuff like that.” said Jenny as she finally was able to squeeze herself close enough to the bar to get the bartender's attention.

“What can I get you two ladies tonight?” asked the bartender with a smile.

“A glass of red wine and one Mojito please.” replied Haeun.

“Coming right up.”

As they waited for their drinks, Jenny couldn't help but glance over to where “they” were gathered. She recognized them, of course, it was hard not to when their faces were everywhere. There was Woohyun, Sungyeol and Hoya. The fourth person with them had their back turned from her and she couldn't be sure if the person with them was a soccer player like them or just one of their friends.

“Earth to Jenny...” Jenny quickly snapped back her focus to her friend who was holding their two drinks in her hands. “You were a little distracted I see...”

“Okay, I admit. It's fun seeing people you admire in real life. But in no way am I going to embarrass myself by going up to them and saying 'Hi'.” Jenny quickly replied.

“Geez, no need to be so defensive. I was having a little fun.” said Haeun.

“Sorry...I didn't mean to sound so defensive. Let's just head back to our table, okay?”

“Fine by me.” said Haeun.

Hoya's three companions were having fun at his expense. Myungsoo was regaling Woohyun and Sungyeol with stories from high school when Hoya looked more like a nerd than an accomplished athlete. Hoya didn't dare deny anything as everything Myungsoo said was true. He was able to laugh along with them as he knew that he had come a long, long way since then.

Myungsoo was about to start another story when Hoya cut him off.

“Okay...I think that's about enough stories about me for one night. You've given them plenty of material to tease me with.” said Hoya.

His teammates booed him.

“Really guys? Booing? That's so immature.” said Hoya.

“Things were just getting really interesting” complained Sungyeol.

“Yeah, I know.” replied Hoya with a knowing smile.

“Just as well. We were about to forget the real reason we're here.” said Woohyun as he once again turned toward the dance floor.

After a few round of drinks and dancing, Jenny excused herself to go to the bathroom. Jieun got up as well saying that she needed to go as well.

Jieun linked arms with Jenny as she had taken one too many drinks.

“Are you okay?” asked Jenny.

“Yeah, I think I went a little overboard with the drinking. I was more than a little nervous at the thought of meeting the woman who raised Sungjong.” replied Jieun with a shy smile.

Jenny looked at the pretty young woman holding her arm and smiled. “You're doing just fine. Just go easy with the drinking for the rest of the night.”

“Got it.”

The girls chatted some more on the way to the bathroom. When she felt her feet slip up from under her. Jieun being already drunk, she was dragged down by Jenny's slip. The girls fell awkwardly on the floor, both OK, just a little embarrassed by the situation if anything. Jenny couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculousness she found herself in. Jieun looked at Jenny and also started laughing. A hand appeared from nowhere to help Jenny up and her cheeks flush when she saw who the hand belonged to.

“You look like you could use a little help there.” said Woohyun with a smile.

Jenny hesitated for a second before grabbing Woohyun's hand. “I swear I don't know how that happened.” Jenny said. She looked beside her and saw that Jieun was getting some assistance as well in the form of Sungyeol.

“Someone spilled beer on that very spot a few minutes before you slipped on it. We tried to get your attention to warn you, but I guess you were too engrossed in your conversation to notice.” said Myungsoo.

“You guys sure you're okay?” asked a concerned Hoya.

“I'm fine. Just a little embarrassed.” said Jenny. She turned her attention to Jieun who signaled that she was okay as well.

“Thank you for all your help. I think both of us would appreciate if you all would just forget this incident.” said Jenny with a shy smile.

“Your knee is bleeding.” pointed out Hoya.

Jenny looked down to her right knee and saw that Hoya was right. “It'll be fine. I'll just put some water on it when I get to the bathroom.” said Jenny as she grabbed Jieun's house.

The two girls walked away from the men who had helped them. Jieun turned back at the last second and managed to squeak out a 'Thank you'.

The four boys waited until the two women got to the bathroom before letting out a good chuckle themselves.

“That's my good deed for the day.” declared Woohyun.

“And mine is cutting all of you off and driving your asses home before you guys end up like them.” said Hoya. The others of course booed him but they also knew he was right. Woohyun tossed him his keys and downed the drink he had in his hand.

“Let's go.” said Woohyun.

Sorry for the delay in updating!  School's been crazy lately.  I already know where I want the story to go, getting the characters to meet was the hardest part. Hehehe.  But they've met so now our story can really get rolling.
