Jenny grabbed her glass of water, took a sip before finally speaking.

“WhatWhereWhenHowWhyDidYouNotTellMeBeforeICan'tBelieveThis.” managed Jenny.

“Slow down. One question at a time.” said Sunggyu.

“Sorry. It's just...This is kinda...” said Jenny. She took a deep breath and asked: “When did this start?”

Haeun looked to Sunggyu and answered: “About five months ago.”

“Five months?!”

“Yes, five months” reiterated her brother.

“How?”

“You should probably answer this.” said Sunggyu to Haeun.

As Haeun finished recounting the story of how her and Sunggyu's relationship happened and progressed, Jenny noticed that her brother had reached over and was now holding her friend's hand.

“And that's how we got to this point.” said Haeun.

“Can I just be real honest right now?” asked Jenny.

Haeun gulped, but nodded for her to continue.

“First, I can't believe that you guys managed to keep this from me for so long. Two, my brother and my best friend keeping something from me for this long hurts my feelings a little bit. Three, my brother and my best friend dating each other?! I don't really know how I feel right now. Fourth, you guys are so disgustingly cute together, it makes me want to puke. Five and most importantly, I'm genuinely really, really happy for you guys.” said Jenny with a smile.

Sunggyu let out the breath he didn't realize he was holding and Haeun's face looked a lot more relaxed.

“You're okay with this?” asked Sunggyu.

“I mean, that you guys are dating each other, that might take a while to sink in. But for my best friend and for my brother to find good people to be with, I have no complaints about that.”

“I wanted to tell you when we were out with Sungjong but then I had a too much liquid courage and then you had your little incident...It just didn't seem like the right time.” explained Haeun.

“How's your knee by the way?” asked Sunggyu. “Haeun told me about what happened.”

Jenny turned to her friend who just shrugged. “Well, he is my boyfriend.” said Haeun simply.

“It's fine, thanks.” replied Jenny. The topic of her knee made her remember the news that she wanted to share with her brother. Now that Haeun was here, she didn't have to repeat herself later. She then told them about the new project that her company would be working on.

“Sounds like it's a good deal all around.” said Sunggyu. Haeun agreed.

The waiter came and took their orders soon after and the rest of dinner went well.
