Personality: Cherry has always been 'different'. She saw the world differntly then most.Growing up she was overweight and because of that she was teased and outcasted, as she grew older her weight went down and but she still remembers how harsh kids can be. She was always a kind person and would do anything for a friend.There were times when people pretended to be her friend to take advantage of her generousity, because of this she is cautious of new people.When she meets new people she is nice but she won't fully open her  heart until she knows she can trust them.
Having grown up being the first and only child and grandchild she learned how to do everything from cooking to fixing machines. Her family cherished her because she was the one to carry the family name , and with the family name came the pressure to succeed. Her family always wanted her to be perfect and chastised her if she got less them 100%. This was in her favor  because she grew up to be a smart young woman, graduating high school early knowing what a cruel place the world could be.
Life has shown her that it wont be easy so she strives to be the best. Never the less being the strong girl she is  she will push herself to the limits even if she doesnt know what the outcome may be. After everything cherry has been though most would be super insecure but Cherry being Cherry has gotten over that insecure stage and is now 100% okay with who she is .
Putting all of that aside Cherry still loves being young, hanging out and trying new things brighten up her mood.
Since she grew up in america skinship is natural for her, to be honest she doesnt really get why skinship is such a big deal in korea. She loves to friends and make them laugh because they are like family to her. She has always gotten along with guys more then girls, most likely because she loves sports and cars. She sometimes gets called a and for hanging with guys but after all the years of being teased and harrassed she's learned to ignore it.
Cherry has no problem getting into physical fights, she learned how to fight during middle school and has since been in quite a few fist fights, all of them had a good reason wether it be people talking crap about her or people flat out trying to hurt her. She doesnt like fighting and causing harm but she is in no way going to let people walk over her or her friends . though she knows how to fight she's not that strong.

Family history: Cherry was raised by her single mother(Jap/Chi) and grandparents. Her father left her mother before she was born. After she was born her family decided to leave california and move somewhere else,Florida. Being raised in Sunshine state Cherry is a water baby and loves the water, the sun not so much. Her family was poor-middle class, leaning more on the poor side.Even though life was tough they were happy. Cherry took life as a challenge. One day the family decieded that they should change pace and move again.Cherry having alway wanted to go suggested korea and even though her family didnt speak a work of korean (cherry took lessons in school) she said yes. Once they got the money together they relocated easily enough, cherry being semi fluent in korean helped alot. They had found a decent place and jobs.Her mother started work at a high school teaching english and cherry got a part time job at a small cafe so she could start taking college courses. She started taking colle
 ge couses on line so she could get her degree sooner. Her grandparents love korea, even though they don't understand a word of korean they loved the atmosphere. Her grandfather loved how korea had both traditional and modern concepts everywhere and her grandmother loved the food and people.

Yuriko Sato-Aug 8-62-Grandmother-She is the one Cherry goes to when she's faced with a problem or to vent. Cherry knows her grandmother will help her sort her thoughts.

Joseph Lee-65- Mar 19-Grandfather- He may be old but he's still sharp and acts like a kid at times. Cherry goes to him when shes feeling down, knowing he will brighten her mood. He still treets her like a child and is protective, but he knows that she is an adult and has to solve some problems by herself. He may be childish but he is still the man of the house and will do what he must to protect his family. He's scary when he's angry but Cherry knows its because he loves her and wants the best for her and the family. He is the one Cherry has the strongest bond with.
