Jessica's POV

After school, we met outside our class.
Sunny left first to meet Hyomin. As usual.
Sooyoung was having stomachache and wanted to hurry home.
Ate too much I think. Keke.
Yuri and Taeyeon had left to get themselves ready for the game.
Luckily, Tiffany was there.
Or else I will be alone.

"Can you watch it with me, PLEASE!!!" I begged her to accompany me.

She thought for a few seconds before agreeing to follow me. 
"Okay okay. It's not like I have anything to do anyway. You can stop your aegyo now."

"Yay! You're the best friend I've ever had!"
I smiled widely at her, and mischeviously inside.
First mission succeeded. Yeah!

We filled our stomachs first since the game will not be starting any sooner.

"Let's go to their locker room. We won't be able to wish them luck personally later. The hall will surely be packed with other school's supporters."

"Yeah whatever, Jess. I'm just following you."

"You don't have to if you don't want to." I told her, knowing how she don't enjoy watching sports.

"No! I want to." she quicky denied my thoughts.

"Because Taeyeon's playing?" I raised my eyebrows at her.

"You already know. So, I'm not anwering to that." her lips curved into a shy smile.

Of course it was because of Taeyeon. 
Good, the plan's going well.

I spotted Yuri as soon as I opened the door.
I ran to her immediately, pretending to forget about Tiffany.

"Yuri ah! All the best okay!" I wished her and hugged her.
There was nobody around at that time so I wasn't afraid to.
They must be changing. Yuri's always the first to get changed.

"Thank you, Sica baby." she kissed my forehead before breaking the hug.

I turned to check Tiffany.

"Our plan is working. Clever Yuri!" we high-fived and secretly watch them.

Taeyeon's POV

Is that Fany? What is she doing here?
I looked around and saw Jessica with Yuri.
Ohh.
Noticing how uncomfortable Tiffany looked, I decided to accompany her while she wait for Sica.

"Hey."

"Taeyeon! Good luck for later."
I was going to thank her when she hugged me and pat my back.

"Thanks." I said as I put my hands on her back.

I was disappointed when she pulled away.
I wished it was longer.

"Tiff, let's go. Or there won't be any good seats left." Sica came out of nowhere and took Tiffany's hand.

Tiffany waved at me and I waved back, managing a smile.

"Good luck, girls!" Sica said before leaving the room.

I only watched as they walked holding hands and let jealousy get me.

Why am I even jealous of Jessica?
Because she's very close with TIffany?

During warm up, I wasn't fully concentrating.
I kept thinking of Jessica and Tiffany.

"Kim Taeyeon, are you okay? You look off." Yuri had noticed and asked.
I know I couldn't lie to her. Just like I couldn't to anybody else.
So, I answered her with a question.

"Are you not jealous when Jessica held hands with Tiffany?"

"Well, not really. Because I know they're just best friends. Why? Are you jealous?? You like Sica?! You know she's mine, right!" she shot her eyes angrily at me, looking like she was going to punch me.

Why is she asking me stupid questions?? Gosh.

"Noooo. Not Sica. Tiffany..."

"I know. Just scaring you. Hehe. Then go and tell her." she laughed at me.

"No, I can't. We just met yesterday."

"So? Come on, Tae. You were the one who said it's never too soon when I told you about Sica the first day of school."

"That's different. And you didn't tell her, anyway."

"What IS different, Taeyeon?? I didn't because I was scared. You know how icy she looked like last time."

"Hah. Excuses."

"Then don't be like me. Or you'll end up hurting like I did everytime I see her with other guys. Or girls."

"Whatever."

I stretched my leg one last time before gathering with the team members.

"There is a total of 10 matches today. We'll be playing 4 of them. Only 10 minutes each. Just play like you normally do." the coach explained the details.

I remembered how I only sat on the bench and watch the seniors play, last year.
I'm glad I get to be in the match now.

We did our group cheer before the first game starts.

Eight matches ended in no time.
We won our first three matches quite easily.

We had five minutes rest before our last game of the day starts.
The last two matches starts at the same time.
And we were playing one of them, against a top school.
The school is great in almost everything, including basketball.

I sat on the bench, and saw Yuri waving to someone on the bleachers.
I followed her hand to see who it was.
Jessica. Who else.

I caught Tiffany looking at me and turned away immediately.
Chills ran down my spine.
Why are you staring at me like that?
I took the bottle beside me and drank some water.
Shifting my eyes back to her, I saw her showing me two thumbs up.

I smiled back at her.
Despite the distance between us, I could still see her bright eye smile clearly.
It definitely made my day.
She had lightened in me, the fear of our next contender.

Seconds from the game, we lined up to shake hands with the opponent's team.
I noticed someone familiar.

"Hey, isn't that Victoria?" I nudged Yuri who was standing beside me, pointing to a girl from the team.

"Hell no."

"She's not bothering you anymore, right? She's seeing a guy now, right?" I whispered under my breath, smiling at the person I was shaking hands with.

We all know of Yuri's past with Victoria.
They dated once. Breaking off after she found out Vic cheated on her with some other butch named Amber.
However, soon Vic were going after Yuri again, saying that she miss her blablabla...
What drama.
She was almost obsessed over Yuri.
Thank god she didn't get into this school.
Only middle of last year did she stopped.
We came to find out that she was dating a Thai guy from her school.

"Yeah." Yuri's smile had become a fake one.
I looked at the bleachers for Jessica. She was looking at Yuri with a worried face.

"Hey, don't get distracted okay. Remember Sica." I tried to cheer her up a little.

When I look at Victoria, she was looking at Yuri. Only.
I rolled my eyes.
Don't even try to do anything funny, Victoria.

Yuri's POV

Why must I see you after all these years?
I looked down when it was our turn to shake hands.
But I guess you already saw me earlier because I heard you saying "Hi Yuri."

During the game, I tried to control my feelings and avoid you as much as possible.
It was hard.
I didn't even dare to look at Jessica.

Then, it just have to happen.
I knew something bad was going to happen.

There were still no scores from either team and time was running up.
I was running to catch the ball, and you were too.

Unfortunately, we collided.
You had fallen on top of me.

The others continued playing as there was little time left.
We remained there, taking our time to get up.

At that moment, our eyes met.
All our memories flashed infront of my eyes.
Unconsciously, my hand went up your arm which was holding onto my left arm.

"Yuri ah! Get up!" I heard Taeyeon shouting at me and it snapped me out of my daydream.

Taeyeon saw what was happening
If it was not for her, I don't know what else would have happened.

I quickly got up, helping her up too, and brushed my knees and elbows after that.

"Sorry. Are you okay?"
I just nodded, avoiding any eye contact and ran to further end of the court.

"Focus Yuri." Taeyeon had ran to me and pat my back.

I tried my best to focus during the intense last minute.
I looked for Jessica but she was not at her place.
I saw her walking out of the sports hall with Tiffany.
She must have seen what happened.

I turned back and received the ball from my teammate.
My feelings were disturbed.
And I couldn't concentrate.
The whole team was depending on me to score a goal.

I shoved aside everything, and shot the ball.

But the result was a let down.
The ball hit the ring and bounced off.
At the same time, the referee whistled game over.
The game ended with no scores.

"Good game." the coach applaud for us.
However, I can see the disappointment in his eyes,

"Sorry guys." I walked to the bench, with heavy weight on my shoulders.

"It's okay, Yul. We still got into the semi-finals." Taeyeon threw me my towel.

"Yeah, Yuri. It's okay." everybody else agreed. I let out a bitter smile to my understanding teammates.

I wiped my sweat off as I threw myself on the bench.

"Are you alright? Drink some water. You look really tired." she sat beside me and handed me my water bottle.

"Thanks." I took it from her and opened the cap. "She wasn't there, Tae. She saw."

"Who? Sica?"

I nodded my head lightly as tears started filling my eyes.

"It's not your fault, Yuri. Accident happens."

"I didn't know what I was thinking. I didn't know what I was feeling. I nearly hugged her when you shouted at me. I hurt Sica."

"Relax. I know it's hard for you especially this was the first time you saw her after a long time. I'm not gonna blame you. And she shouldn't too. If I can understand, I'm sure she would too."

"Thanks for believing me, Tae. You're a really good friend."

"Okay, stop crying. We should go bath now. You can look for her after that." she pulled the towel that I covered my face with.

"You go first. I'll come later."

"Okay. Don't stay here too long." she left the towel beside me and walked away.

When I was walking to the changing room, I crossed path with some of other school's players who were going to the guest's changing room.
I kept my head down so that I won't see anyone that I might know. Anyone like her.

Just then, I heard someone calling me.
Victoria.
I quickened my pace, pretending that I didn't hear anything.
But in vain.
She had caught up with me and grabbed my hand.
