Jessica's POV

Yuri slept at my house that friday night.
She was too sleepy to go home after having a movie marathon at my house since evening.

When she walked to the toilet, I saw her pressing her temples.
She have been complaining of headaches ever since the day after we were caught in the rain.
She assumed it was the rain and didn't find the need to go to the doctor.
A tough girl she is.
I just let her be.

"Headaches again?" I asked as soon as she walk out of the toilet.
"Yeah... A bit." she smiled. Weakly. Her face looked a little pale.

I watched as she walked to the bed slowly, lying down immediately and closed her eyes.
This is so not like you.
I went to her side and touched her forehead and neck to check if she was running a fever.
Her eyes still closed, she took my hand, wrapping both her hands around it, and placed it on her stomach.

"I told you to see the doctor. Why won't you listen to me?" my brows furrowed.
Her eyes lit open.
"I'm fine, Sica." her voice was soft and assuring but it didn't erase off my worries.
"You look pale." I said as I played with her fingers.
"I'm just tired." she grazed my cheeks as she smiled again, weakly.
Her fingers were cold, they sent me shivers.
"I'm sleeping. Goodnight, Sica." she turned around and snuggled into the blanket, after pinching my cheeks softly.

No kiss?
Sigh.

I switched off the lights before goting to the closet room and changing into my pajamas.
When I went back to bed, Yuri was already asleep.
I climbed on the bed beside her slowly, so as to not wake her up.
Laying my head on the pillow, I stared at the sleeping girl.
My heart felt heavy all of a sudden.

Why are you insisting that you are fine when you clearly are not?

Yuri's POV

The bright sunlight woke me up.
I opened my eyes, yawning and stretching my arms.
And a sharp pain pierced the side of my head.
I winced.
It was gone as soon as it came.

Is it even normal to get these pains?
Usually, it would come once or twice every few months.
Lately, however, it came quite frequently.
But since it only hurts for a while, I just ignored it.
Only last night did it became so unbearable.
Maybe because I didn't get enough sleep the last few days.

Turning around, I found Jessica still in wonderland.
I grinned, planting a kiss on her head.
Should I wake her up?
It was already 10 am.
I decided not to since it's a Saturday.

I opened the curtains to allow more light to enter the room before taking my shower.
Hopefully the bright lights will wake the princess up.

I looked through my clothes in Jessica's clost room and got into a decent set of clothings.
Just a t-shirt and my favourite pair of black jeans.
After which, I went donwstairs, leaving Jessica in her sleep.

"Good morning, Aunty. Morning, Krystal." I ruffled Sica's younger sister's hair as I walked around the table to the chair opposite her.
"Unnie!" she cried and pouted as she adjusted her messed up hair.
Cute girl.
But her sister is still the cutest.
"Morning, Yuri. Sooyeon still sleeping? Why can't she be like both of you?" her mother shook her head as she placed a plate of pancakes on the table.
"Omma ah, you say that almost everyday." Krystal said as she put a piece of pancake onto her plate.
"Yes! And I won't stop until she change that habit of hers."

We just laughed at her.
The same thing that happened almost every other mornings when I sleep here, had repeated itself again.
It was like a daily routine.

"Where are you going, Krystal?" i asked, noticing how she was all dressed up.
"It's my friend's birthday today. We're throwing a party for her." she answered before stuffing a fork of a piece of pancake into .
"Oh, I see."

"Aren't you eating, Yuri?" Aunty asked as she took her sit at the head of the table.
"I'm waiting for Sica." I smiled at her.
"Of course you are. Just eat if you're hungry."
"Nae." I nodded as I stared at the food infront of me.

The pancakes were calling me.
But I need to wait for Sica or she'll be whining later on.
To fill my empty stomach a bit, I poured the orange juice into an empty glass and dranks some from it.

"Yuri~!" thinking of the devil, I heard her screaming from upstairs.
I quickly ran to hide in the kitchen toilet, signaling Krystal and Aunty to keep quiet.

I pressed my ear to the door so that I can hear them.

"Where's Yuri?" I heard her asking in a panic voice.
I chuckled.
"She went out. Not even a leaving a word." Krystal answered her.
Smart girl.
"WHAT? Where? Why?"
"How would I know? She seemed upset by the way. Did something happened last night?"
Good one, Krystal!
In the toilet, I was cracking up like some crazy person.
"NO!"

At that moment, I went out of the toilet, laughing out loud.
"Bbongiya." Krystal and continued eating.
Aunt's mouth was full.
No wonder I didn't hear anything from her.
She just smiled at our prank.

"YA~!" her shrilling scream rang inside my ears.
But I just continued laughing.
So fun, pranking Sica.
I went over and to Krystal and high-fived her.
"You can be an actress when you grow up. A great one."

"Ya!" Sica screamed again, now running towards me.
Without delaying, I ran away from her, around the table two times.
"Unnies are childish as ever. Even I'm more mature, right mom?" Krystal commented, eating at the same time.
"Stop it girls. Sit down and eat." Aunt tried to stop us but was too late. 
We were already running upstairs.

She caught me as I fall onto the bed, and tickled me.
"Okay okay! Sorry! Stop!" I begged her between laughters, covering my aching stomach.
It was cram due to laughing too much and because her sharp fingers were poking me everywhere.
"Revenge is sweet, huh?" she hit my shoulder, and sat at the edge of the bed, pouting.
I grabbed her arm for support and sat up, my face pulled up infront of her.

I looked into her gleaming eyes. Her pout had disappeared and her lips were now parted.
I closed the gap between us, and kissed her.

Then, my stomach growled, causing us to break into more laughters.
"I'm gonna bathe. Don't wait for me, Yuri." she patted my stomach, pecking my lips one last time before going to the toilet.
Spoiler stomach. Wrong timing.

I walked out of the room, closed the door and went back down.
Not even giving myself time to settle down, I reached for an empty plate, putting a few pieces of pancake onto it, and a saucer, squeezing into it honey from the bottle.

"Not waiting anymore?" Krystal asked as they watch me taking the food like how someone who have not eaten for days would.
"Hehe. No. Too hungry."
As soon as I sit, I cut a big piece from the pancake with the knife, dipped the piece into the honey, and stuffed it into my mouth.

Mmmmm, delicious.

"Eat slowly, Yuri. You'll choke. And next time, play catching again." Aunt's sarcastic remark made me want to laugh.
But I was too busy filling my stomach to even reply her.
I just followed her advice obediently and eat slightly slower.

Minutes later, the princess came walking to the table, taking her sit beside me.
At the same time, I just finished my sumptuous breakfast.

"Wow, you're fast."
"No. You're the one who's slow." I disagreed with her.

At the same time too, Krystal stood up from the table, announcing her departure.
Soon after that, her mother also took her leave.
She wanted to go shopping with her friends that afternoon and had went up to get ready.
We had the whole house to ourselves, with Sica's dad at work and the rest going out.
The whole house. Only to ourselves.
