Kris stepped back in Tao’s apartment, sensing how quiet it was, “Tao?”

He didn’t hear any shuffling or thuds to tell him Tao was still there. He was about to take his things to leave when Tao stepped out of his bedroom, shirtless and with black jeans on.

Kris looked at the man surprised, even when the said man was putting his shirt on, “Ah, I’m just about to leave.”

“You don’t seem nervous.”

“Kris, I just baked four cakes and a few batches of cookies. I’m ing nervous.”

“So then why are going?”

“Because he offered and I couldn’t say no.”

Kris nodded, knowing full well that there was more to that, but he didn’t push. Instead he grabbed his things, watched Tao grab his things and left the apartment building together. Kris thought that the younger looked great, and was slightly jealous that he dressed up to see his exe, but other than that, thought nothing.

Just when they were about to part, Tao held unto Kris’s sleeve, not looking up. He reminded the man of a puppy that just got yelled at, “Can you walk with me?”

Kris held some pity for the boy and agreed. Tao switched his hand from the sleeve to Kris’s hand, closing his fingers around his and squeezing tight. It was different from the other times they held hands, this one seemed more like Tao needed a shoulder to cry on, someone to pat him on the back, just something to ease him.

Kris looked up at a café that Tao stopped at, and then back to the boy. Tao was staring at someone, and he could only guess it was the silver-haired man that was sipping on what looked like bubble tea.

Kris moved his hand to let go of Tao, but he held on tighter, “I don’t want to do this.”

Kris wrapped his arms around the boy, seemingly like felt too dramatic or him to deal with, “So then why are you?”

The boy shrugged before pulling back, but not entirely out of Kris’s grip, “I need to give him some sort of closure. I was a   for what I did.”

“Do you want me to be in the same room with you?”

“No. But stay on the same block, so if I need some rescuing, you can be my shining knight in armor.”

Kris nodded letting go of the boy. Tao was about to walk in when he spinned back around, grabbed Kris’s face and placed his lips on Kris’s for a few seconds, before giving off a goofy grin, “Okay. Now I feel way better.”

Kris was at a bookstore near Tao’s location when he picked up a woman’s magazine that had in bright blue ink, ‘what does his kiss mean?’ right on the page. Kris thought a bunch of woman’s magazines were a bunch of bull. Sure, Tao kissed him twice, and they were pretty quick, but women were supposed to be experts, right?

What Does His Kiss Mean?

This gesture shows lots of affection. It’s the brushing of noses, so it’s not a real kiss. Generally he would do it to you be to be silly, or to just feel your presence close. If he’s looking into your eyes, he’s loving your whole being, reading your soul. If his arms are wrapped around you, he likes you too much to let you guy. This is one of the sweetest forms of affection.

8. The Cheeky

If he kisses you on the cheek, there’s no real reason. Sometimes its out of excitement. Sometimes its out of affection. Sometimes its out of pity. A kiss on the cheek doesn’t have to be affectionate. It’s generally can be between friends and is seen as normal European greetings. We believe that if he kisses you on the cheek while your in a relationship, then he’s making sure you that your together.

Kris was too engrossed in reading the magazine that he was surprised to feel his phone vibrate on his pocket. He saw the picture of Tao and rhythmic vibrate, and answered it, “Do you need me to come fetch you?”

Tao’s breathing hitched, and said in broken breathy words, “He wants me! He wants me back! He wants me back…”

“I walked back to my apartment. I slapped him. He kissed me. He wants me back… Kris, I don’t know what to do about him! I need you… I need you now. I want you here!”

“I’ll be there in a bit.”

Kris stormed into Tao’s apartment, taking off his sheos and jacket without much thought as he walked towards Tao’s bedroom. He saw a small lump on the bed, which he guessed was Tao as a cacoon, probably showered and possibly . Kris saw Tao in a similar situation once before when it involved the bakery, and it worried him as much as did now, but it worried him worse.

Kris walked over to the cacoon and took off the blanket, Tao lying down on the bed on his back. He looked up at the sight of Kris, with eyeliner running down his cheeks. He was only wearing  muscle shirt and boxer shorts, his hair all messed up.

Kris touched Tao, and said, “We need to wipe yoru make up off.”

Tao held up his arms and demanded to be carried. Kris chuckled at the sight and bent down to let Tao wrap his arms around his neck as he skillfully brought his legs to wrap around his waist. Kris walked with Tao latching him like koala to the kitchen, where he sat him on the nice clean counters, and wet some paper towels.

No words were exchanged as Kris wiped off the make up from Tao’s eyes. Kris perfered seeing him without make up simply because there was no mess to clean up and he liked the way his eyes looked plain.

Kris threw the dirtied towel in the sink and stood in front of Tao, who would occasionally drop some tears off his face.

Tao looked up at Kris and asked, “Why didn’t I fall in love with you the first time we met? Why did I have to wait until Sehun came along? He just ruined everything for me!”

“What happened, Zitao?”

It took a few hours, with Tao getting off subject, moments of sobs, times of changing placement and Kris comforting the younger man.
