“Put yourself together, Put yourself together” I repited it to myself while I walked towards the mal, after what happened, I was really nervous, my mind was all messed up, id didn’t know what to do.

Just when I was walking towards the meeting place I setted up with the bodyguards, I saw through a shop window glas show somebody was following me, I knew who he was.  I made a call.

-Yes?-

-John is that you?- I said in english. I knew Young Do’s english wasn’t very good, for now, so I kept on talking.

-I think someone is following me-

-Are you alright miss? Do you need any backups?-

-No, dont worry, I think is Young Do, I wanted to know what to do to avoid him-

-Well miss, as you enter the mal, you can direct yourself towards a restaurant for a couple of minutes, we’ll check if he still follows, if he is, I’ll tell you what to do next- I hang up the pone  and kept on walking as nothing happened. I arrived to a restaurant and waited for fifteen minutes. I called John again.

-Yes?-

-Miss, we verified he is still there, keeping a distance of some metters away. He tries to hide-

-Oh boy, what am I supposed to do?-

-You can wait in the mal for half an hour, trying to act as if you were supposed to be there,  so he is not suspicious-

-Well, I’ll leave in a couple of days for training and I need to buy a couple of things. Plus, I have free time now!-

-Ha ha- he laughed in the other side of the line.

-I heard that-

-And remember not to buy too much, he thinks you are poor-

-Ha ha!- I laughed hard this time –What a humble opinión you have there John. What after that?-

-You can take a cab to the adress I’ll send you in a text, there we’ll meet-

-Are we texting now? Remember once I have your number, You’re my slave!-

-Puaghh…- he laughed harder than before. He was a close friend and guard, I was imagining the rest of the guards watching his expression, specially the South Korean guards.

-Well, I can relax now before I go to hell-

-Its not hell Miss-

-Its not?-

-We’ve been thorugh worse in our training-

-Ohhhh, but you’ve never been in a military compund-

-There are worse places than those-

-I trust you John, if it is hell, I’ll fire you, oh wait! You are coming along!- we both laughed histerically, people around me started to look at me weirdly, I put on a poker face again.

As I hang up the pone I saw him, if he was going to follow me, I was going to show him that I was a normal person. So I went to a couple stores, splurge my eyes with some pretty backpag sighting and ate an ice cream. After a while, I bought a simple shirt and headed to the supermarket.

I spent more than half an hour (sadly) trying to get ride of him,  but he insistedly followed me and I was getting a bit worry. He was never like this, so I wondered why would he do it now. I tried to look back, did I left something from my purse? If so, he could just give me what I’m missing, but i checked my bag and nothing was missing. I went outside and hesitate in taking a cab, I tricked him and turned, he was standing frozen while looking at me surprised.

-What exactly are you doing?- I said. He got startled.

-Nothing-

-Well, you’ve been following me for quite a while, why?-

-I’m not following you…-

-Yes, you are- I cutted him by saying –Don’t try to hide it- My face expression got relaxed, I felt it –Do you need anything?-

-Ummm, no. I just… wondered when you’ll leave-

-I’m sorry but its not of your concerned-

-Alright, I got it.- I tried to get into the cab – Where are you going…- he hesitated –for a whole month?-

-I need to take care of something. I have to work, some of us have to. I need money so I’ll go somewhere and, work- Lier.

-Where? Do you need a job? Isn’t it enough with the restaurant hotel’s job?-

-Part- time job- I clarified –And it’s not enough for the summer, but I’ll return after this. The new one is a bit far,, but they will pay me well-

-Where exactly?-

-I’m sorry but I wont tell you, I don’t want to. Is there a problema with that?-

-No- he said a bit dissapointed.

-Well, good bye then. I really need to go now, my bus leaves later today and I need to get ready-

-Bus? You’re going to the bus station?-

-Yes, goodbye Young Do, have a nice vacation-

-Goodbye- he said.

As I tried to get inside the cab one last time, he pulled me back by my hand.

-What are you doing? Do you NEED anything?- I emphasize by saying.

-After what happened with the car I got worry, So I followed you. I want to make sure everything is ok-

-Oh, alright…- I didn’t know what to say, but I somehow sensed his intentions –Look, I can’t tell you where I’m going, but if you want, I can text you and tell you I’m alright-

-Alright, sure- he said while going back to his usual coldness while letting my hand go. So that was what he wanted.

-Bye Young Do- I said one last time.

When I took the cab, I saw Young Do through the driver’s mirror, he was not moving. I couldn’t understand him now, all his bizard changes of behaviour. He was getting surprised Little by Little, like he was noticing me in a different way. I knew he wouldn’t take the first step, so I texted him.

-Hello, this is me. Shin Soo Ra- he saw my message, although he didn’t answer until some couple hours later.

-Have a nice trip- I could only imagine a smile drawn on his face.
