"Have a nice day," you said to the leaving customers. As always, no reply. You wiped your hands on a towel and proceeded to the kitchen. You glanced at your phone. The screen blinked, signaling a text. You stood there, in a daze. It was from Jonghyun. You stared at it until the screen turned black again. 'I hope things aren't too awkward between us...' you thought. You picked your phone up and checked the text.

um... I just wanted to say hi and check up on you.. ^^ Are you ok?

You softened from his sweet text, but had no idea how to reply.

Ehm.. Yes, I'm fine! And also, hello.

You stared at the lame reply and considered changing it, but sent it anyway. He replied back quickly.

J: That's nice to hear. What are you doing right now?

You: I'm at work~

J: Sorry, am i slowing you down?

You: No, my boss is very easy going. How bout you?

J: That's good to hear. I'm at practice, but we got a break.

You: Don't you wanna do something else besides texting me?

J: Nope.

You blushed. 'Ah.. He doesn't seem to give up...'

Jonghyun frowned. 'Was I too straight forward? Oh well..'

"Hyung, who are you texting?" Taemin asked.

"~~~~~-ah," Jonghyun replied flatly.

"Oh~ That pretty noona," Taemin smiled. Jonghyun turned around and glared at him.

"What?" Taemin asked innocently, "I'm not gonna steal her from you!"

Jonghyun sighed.

"She has a boyfriend already," Jonghyun said quietly.

"..It's ok. Just don't tell anyone," you said.

Jonghyun remembered what you had said before. 'Well, i'm not really telling...'

"HEY GUYS JONGHYUN IS HITTING ON A-"

"SHUT UP!" Jonghyun hissed. Taemin clamped a hand over his mouth.

"Don't tell anyone..." Jonghyun warned him. Taemin nodded and backed away. Jonghyun stared at his phone again. 'Why do I keep waiting for something that will never be mine?'

Junhyung nervously entered Papa Hong's office.

"Can we talk?" Junhyung asked.

"Sure. Have a seat."

Junhyung gulped, not knowing what to say.

"Umm.." Junhyung started.

"Go on."

Junhyung bit his lip.

"I.. I want to end my 'relationship' with Hara."

'..That came out more straight forwardly than i thought it would...'

"What?" Mr. Hong asked, looking up from his papers.

"I said I want to break up with Hara," Junhyung repeated, this time with more confidence.

"Why?"

Junhyung thought about all the reasons why.

All the tears that escaped your eyes.

All the pain.

All the secrets.

All the jealousy.

But mostly you.

Junhyung stood up abruptly.

"Why?" Junhyung murmured. He held his hand out, showing the couple ring to Papa Hong.

"This is why. I have a girlfriend other than Hara."

"What?!" Mr. Hong exclaimed, "You signed the contract, so that means I'll have to kick you ou-"

"I don't care anymore," Junhyung growled, "~~~~~~-ah is my first priority. I don't want to see her cry another time. Go ahead, fire me."

Junhyung turned around and walked out of the office with hot, heavy footsteps. Mr. Hong gulped. Junhyung is important to Cube. Who knows what will happen if they lost him?

"Welco-" you were about to greet the customer. Your eyes grew large.

"E-Eun Ah," you stammered. She walked over to you and you took a step back. Eun Ah sighed in distress and adjusted her duffel bag on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry," she said, her voice cracking, "But can I stay at your house again?"

"Why?" you asked suspiciously. She hesitantly rolled her sweater sleeve up, revealing a set of burns and scars. You gasped quietly.

"Wh-What happened?" you stammere
