♔ Chapter 5 ♔

"I can't believe I was gone for a week," my body collapsed onto the couch as Minseok's wife placed her hand onto my right leg. "We're just glad you're back. Minseok was going insane when you just left without any note or anything." I felt horrible. My head turned to Minseok, who stood by the door speaking to the officer. A sigh escaped as I looked to his wife once more. "I'm sorry." I muttered. She smiled and shook her head, "Tell it to him." 

"Na Mi!" A voice came booming in. I looked up and saw Baekhyun running into the house. "Oh my god, where have you been?!" He looked angry and stressed, very stressed. I felt like I was going to cry, and it happened that I was already crying. "Baek, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He sat down and sighed as he leaned forward and hugged me. 

"I'm not mad at you, Na, but it would've been nice if you told us where you were." My face buried into his chest as he soothingly pat my back with each hush. "I'm sorry," I hiccuped, "I'm really am." 

Minseok came to the other side of me and sighed, "You didn't take your phone nor your purse. Nothing was missing out of the usual, I thought you were kidnapped, Mi." My face moved away from Baekhyun's chest as I looked to my upset brother. "Min, I'm sorry. You don't know how much regret I feel right now." He chuckled and shook his head, "Next time, at least take your phone." I chuckled and nodded as he pulled me into a hug. 

"Aunty?" My eyes trailed to Jenny as a smile crept onto my face. "Hi, honey." I say, motioning her to come to me. She crawled off of the other couch and to me. "Are you okay?" She asked me once she's sat herself on my lap. My brows furrowed as I nodded, "Why wouldn't I be, honey?" She shook her head and laid in my lap. "Daddy, I want to stay with aunty today."

Minseok looked at Jenny and shook his head, "I'm sorry, sweetheart, but you have to go to school tomorrow." Her frown was the cutest thing, it made me chuckle softly. "You can come stay with me, Jenny," Baekhyun offered. "Uncle can take you to school tomorrow." Jenny looked over to Baekhyun and hopped out of my arms. My mouth dropped as I gawked at them. 

"I can't believe it." I mumbled. "Jenny, you choose uncle Baekie over your aunty Na Mi?" I pouted as she giggled. "Of course she would. Uncle Baekie is the best, right Jenny?" Baekhyun cooed. Rolling my eyes, I shook my head and leaned my head back onto the couch. 

Minseok patted my leg before getting up, "It's getting late, we'll head home first." He said as his wife got up also. "And we will expect a call before you go to bed tonight!" I gave them a look, "You guys act like I'm a five year old, but I'll call you. If it makes you happy." Minseok's head nodded, "Very." 

Baekhyun got up with Jenny as well. "I'm leaving too. I need to pick up some groceries before I take Jenny home." He sighed and looked at the time, "On second thought, I'll do that tomorrow morning. Come on, Jenny." Jenny excitedly jumped up and down as she hopped to the door. I chuckled
