♔ Chapter 13 ♔

"Do you fear my son?" My eyes turned to Joonmyun as he leaned against the wall of my living room. Being released from the hospital was the best feeling because I really missed my own bed. And because of my release, Joonmyun's parents invited themselves into my home to 'discuss matters'. His mother looked to me as I sighed and shook my head. "I used to, but as he reveals himself and frighten me with every chance he gets, I'm quite used to it now. I have no fears for him anymore." His mother nodded with a smile as she placed her hand onto my stomach. It was begin to show itself now that I'm near 3 months. 

Suddenly, I felt pain within my stomach and winced, nearly falling off the couch and hitting the coffee table again. Luckily, my grasp on the table made me safe. I sat on the ground, holding onto my stomach with my left hand. Joonmyun sprinted to me and placed his body behind me for support. "Mother, what did you do?" He asked in fear. I looked up as she simply shook her head. Now I knew, they were all capable of anything, and extremely powerful. 

"There will be no more immortality in her child." Her hand was still placed onto my stomach. He or she was created by a mortal and immortal. But his mother is converting my baby into a human, full human. I looked up to Joonmyun and gripped his hand tightly. The pain was spreading throughout my body. "How long will she be like this?" Joonmyun asked. His mother smiled, "The conversion is nearly complete. Darling, please bare with it for a few more minutes." I was now screaming at the top of my lungs. With every seconds, the pain was getting more and more painful.
